Love the size, easiness of carry, and function. Sturdy

I wish I would have opened the box and checked it out sooner. I am now beyond the return window. This box is extremely cheap and feels like it will fall apart at any moment. It's basically paper painted to look like wood. the latch is cheap, soft, I don't know, foil? It's not metal.Don't buy this product. It is overpriced. I thought for the price it would be durable. I regret this decision and now I'm stuck with it. The only reason I gave it one star is because I couldn't choose no stars.

This box is very lightweight and easy to carry. The strap is nice and compliments the box nicely. It’s more on the rustic side visually. The inside of the lid has a useful way to secure pens and accessories. I am pleased with this box and it’s many different uses.

There is no leather strap, the strap is made of a cheap nylon and the wood box is thin and cheaply assembled. The inside loopsare stapled to the one sided lined half of the box. The screws are stainless steel (silver) and the strap clasp a light shieny brass color, and the front of the box closure is yet a different color, a dark antique metal. The onlyeal discouraging part is the strap as it is clearly leather in the advertisement.

Some of the interior items were very poorly attached. One of the clips was aready detached when it arrived and the other clip came loose the first time I used it. I bought this box solely for its interior dimensions, because I plan to use it to store tubes of oil paint and palette knives in my backpack for outdoor (plein air) painting. It will suffice for that. The strap is strong, so I plan to reuse it elsewhere. The wood is very light in weight! I expect it will stand up to being carried in my backpack.

Perfect for students and artists, and especially suitable for travel. Its design, combined with a storage box, allows for easy organization of art supplies.

Bought this for my artist son in law, but I won’t be giving this to him because I would be embarrassed! The “wood” feels like balsa wood - if I press my finger into it, it would break. It’s too small to even hold a piece of notebook paper! Misleading description. Spend your money elsewhere!

The box is flimsy, the "felt" came undone as the glue was dried out so bad ot pulled away from the box. The strap will not hold when materials are added.Don't recomend unless you like buying things and repursing the ok bits.
