Had a plastic slow feeder from my old service dog I was using with this new puppy service dog, but it kept sliding all over on the floor. Thought I would try this one since the other one I had was old anyways. And it works great first time use today I put it on a rubber mat like the other one and it didn’t slip off at all. I purchased the 3 cup one even tho my dog will never eat that much at once since we feed her multiple times a day but figured I would buy the bigger one just because.

It actually did slow our dog's eating which was the purpose for buying it. The rubber fits firmly to the edges of the bowl and keep it from sliding on the tile floor. It is light and stable for our dog's meals.

Bowl is nice, size os good. Non skid ring has to be put on often.

Have tried other "maze type" plastic bowls and my dog was just frustrated. Those channels were just too small.This bowl is sturdy and provides just the right amount of difficulty for my 45lb dog. Love the stainless and the rubber bottom makes it non slip and very quiet. No mess to clean up around the base as I have read on other reviews - dont know what they are using for food either.

Our Lab/Husky mix has been an "off to the races" eater since a puppy. She used to throw up because she ate so fast. These bowls really slow them down. We had a plastic one which she bit into pieces. We bought metal to alleviate this, but we also took off the rubber band (which easily removes) to avoid that being eaten. The bowl sliding around helps slow the eating too. Very nice bowl and serves its purpose very well.

Overall decent for the price. I am going to have to superglue the rubber on though. As soon as my dog pushes the bowl on the tile floor, the rubber piece pops off and the dish slides around freely.

These dishes slowed my lab pups down enough that they have noticeably better digestion. They don’t seem MUCH slower but I can really tell by their poops that it was what they needed. The ring on the bottom does come off but it easily goes back on. Really like these dishes!

It does help my dog slow down some so I'm happy with that aspect. The rubber ring did not last long though, as it is too loose. My dog is a pretty determined eater so unfortunately this means sometimes his bowl ends up half way across the room without the rubber to provide grip. Looking into wall-mounted bowls now but overall, this has been a worthwhile purchase.

I love this bowl! Works great for my Burnese Mt. Dog X Great Pyrenees. She was always gulping down her food and I had bought a plastic one but her being a power chewer she ruined that pretty quickly! Stainless steel is much more durable and sanitary. Plus it's quality made!

This certainly slowed down my spaniel, without making it too difficult. It is easy to clean, though I’m not sure how long the rubber ring will last.
