Didn’t heat up at allHad a few so I am aware the first part of the cable doesn’t produce heat but the whole length didn’t work very disappointed

It does heat up to a suitable temperature and does the job. However beware - the length stated on the product is NOT the length which heats up. To make it clear, only 2m of the wire actually heats up. The first 1.5m is unheated and this IS included in the length...

I bury these in the soil of my bioactive jungle tanks to heat it as they are waterproof. Use with a thermostat as they can get really really hot. I used to wrap these around the vines in my chameleon encolsure too but they were never really on.

Not happy with this product doesn't state it's an American plug so was disappointed with that but also there was damage to the wire at the plug and the plug snapped off the wire what a waste of money

Love this heat cable, can be used in a variety of ways, I use it in my incubator because I can wrap the cable wherever I need it. Heats up quickly and evenly. Works well with a thermostat.

this item does the job I intended it for, although it was not what it was origanally intended for..I use it for under soil heating in a propogater...
