Cosamo Non Permanent Hair Color, Black

My entire experience, from order to reception, proceeded in ideal manner; the product arrived in prompt fashion and was exactly as described. I am allergic to hair coloring and I can use this product with no issues whatsoever. It is just like Clairol's Loving Care which was discontinued. I am elated to have found this product. Please don't stop production! Much thanks and appreciation!

I have dark brown black hair and about a year ago became very allergic to hair dye! I would have a burning itchy scalp and a rash for weeks! I found this product after searching for something I could use without all the harsh chemicals and found Cosamo. I love it to cover my gray hairs that are starting to show. No reaction!!!!!!! Saved my life!!!!!!! Yes you have to use more often but that is better than a allergic reaction!!! 1-8-2018 for the reviews that say this product “fried” there Hair perhaps there Hair was already fried. There is no way this product would do that. I have dark brown/black Hair which is getting gray and I ally this got for at time 2 hours while Iam doing chores then rinses make my hair so soft and shiny... get so many compliment and have been using this now for about 5?years!!! Absolutely love this stuff!!!! Don’t ruin it for all the people out there that are allergic to PPD and the harsh chemicals that do actually fry your hair!!!!!

I have now tried this product 3 times. The first time I did exactly what it said to do and I got about 30% of my gray covered. The second time I left it in for 45 minutes, again like it said if you have stubborn gray, and with the same results. Not wanting to give up I tried it a third time and left it in for 2 hours!!! Maybe 40% gray coverage from that. Every time it washes completely away one the very first shampoo. Very disappointing since I can't use a dye with dpe.

This product is great. I am so glad my research led me to this. All of a sudden a few months ago I developed a reaction to my regular hair dye that had my scalp feeling like it was on fire. I couldn't stop scratching to the point I was causing scabs!! I've read all the horror stories of some people experiencing worse so I knew I needed to find an alternative and fast.I'm 40 yrs old and experiencing grey hair. I am not ready to acclimate that into my life at the moment so I felt defeated and had no idea how I was going to accept just rocking the grey hair when I don't look like I should have greys (don't hate, lol). The only thing I would say is it doesn't last long for me and I have to color my hair more often but I'll take that!! I just placed an order for a pack of 3.

I have medium brown hair with some greys, and was hoping to go temporarily black for Halloween. I followed the instructions and left this on for the full 45 minutes, and it did absolutely nothing. It didn't even color my greys. I gave it two stars instead of 1 because it could have been worse - it could have dyed my hair black and never washed out, which is what I was mostly afraid of (my last experience with "temporary" dye is still visible at the ends of my hair, over 2 years later). So yeah, did nothing, but at least it didn't completely ruin my hair, I guess.

My husband had to darken his salt and pepper hair to look younger for a community theater role. I suggested he use something non-permanent to avoid the stark roots after the role was over and after striking out at the local stores, we decided to give this a try. . This effectively darkened his gray hair and looked very natural; it didn't at all create the "you must have just dyed your hair" reaction. It did not turn his mostly-white hair stark black, but more of a darker gray. The costume director said he looked younger, so mission accomplished. It had the slightest blue/purple tinge, but it wasn't bad -- I was perfectly happy to be seen with my hubby in public. I wouldn't recommend this for full gray coverage, but I think it would work well if you had just a few grays to cover or if you were looking for a temporary fix. So far it has held up well through several shampoos. Not sure how it will do in the long run. Recommended.Update: My hubby used this to cover his gray hair for a role in a play. It worked find and looked pretty natural -- but oh my goodness, his hair went through a very awkward lavender stage as the color faded/washed out. Just be prepared.

I just love Amazon services.The product is good for people with severe allergy. But doesn't cover the grays well. After few washes only it will turn into lavender.

This product has exceeded all my expectations. I'm allergic to all other 'apparently' non - allergic and natural hair colourants.

Ordered the black left in for an hour and it didn't cover grey. Washes out with each shampoo and ended up turning my hair purple

yes this is exactly what i need as i am allergic to most hair dyes and this is perfect.
