Q: Can this be taken off with one hand while riding a bicycle?

I am certain that u can remove the phone while in motion however beware you may be endangering your life being preoccupied while doing so.

Q: it shows putting the phone on the mount, and then the mount on the bike. can I leave the mount on the bike and attach and detach the phone?

Yes…if you turn the phone into the horizontal (or landscape) position, the phone can be removed still in the webbing leaving the part that attaches to the handlebars in place and then can be snapped back into the mount easily. Great feature to stop and take a quick pic or take a call without removing the phone from the whole mount.

Q: will it fit my 4 1/4" circumferance handlebars

I believe it will fit 4.25" circumference handlebars, but it will be extremely tight based on my own holder/handlebar measurements.

Q: Does this fit the 12 mini?

Yes for an iPhone 12 mini (5.4" diagonal). The same Bike Mount worked for my old iPhone 8 (4.7" diagonal) and new iPhone 14 (6.0" diagonal).
