While this adds to their durability, it's worth mentioning for those who prefer lighter tableware.Deep Cereal Bowls: The cereal bowls are notably deep, which may be a personal preference. While some may appreciate the extra capacity, others might find it a bit deeper than expected for standard cereal portions.Despite these considerations, I find the set to be an excellent addition to my kitchen. The weightiness speaks to the quality of the ceramics used, and the deep cereal bowls are a unique feature for those who prefer heartier breakfasts. While the light blue and cream combination is beautiful, the Amazon picture appears to show an aquamarine shade, which I was initially hoping for. It's a subtle difference, but worth noting for those who are particular about color coordination.

Okay, I try not to put much importance on material possessions, but these dishes are everything I hoped and dreamed. They kind of remind me of the gills on the underside of mushrooms, but the ridges are shallow enough that they're super easy to clean. The green is earthy but a very pretty shade, and pics really don't do them justice. They're perfect for my decor. I did end up having to return the first set due to defects in the glaze of two pieces but the second set had no issues. The wide bowls are amazing for anything that may need to be mixed, like salads or pasta or cereal, and have a tall enough lip that things stay inside when doing so. The taller bowls are deep and perfect for soup, with less worry about boil-over when used in the microwave. They're the perfect weight: heavy enough to be good quality but not too heavy to be cumbersome. Dishes were packed well and both sets arrived unbroken, which is more than I can say for some companies. My boyfriend loved them so much that he also got a set. Highly recommended.

This set of dishes and plates and bowls are incredible. Heavy means durable. Plus they’re just a great looking set.

One sauce was broken. You have to contact the manufacturer for a replacement, which is completely impossible to get a hold of anyone. I finally gave up, and I am just short one saucer. The dishes themselves are quite nice.

I love these plates! Just got them today and the pictures online do not do them justice! They really are beautiful in real life. They seem to be of good quality too. I got these as a replacement for my old Gibson set that were square with a similar color scheme. Note- don’t get the square plates from Gibson Elite line. Every single one of them chipped and only had them for a few years! These new plates feel completely different from my old set, they definitely feel more substantial and better quality for sure. I will update this review once I have used them for a period of time to see how they hold up. I am very pleased with my purchase this time around!

I love these dishes! The color is perfect along with the pottery feel to them. I am so happy with the color, feel, and look. The bowls are great as well.

These dishes are much heavier and larger than I expected, but they certainly seem durable! They seem very well made.

I love these pieces! They are each unique and look like artisan pottery pieces. The colour is true to the photos but each dish is slightly different in how dark the colour is. We LOVE that there are no mugs in this set but instead 2 different sized bowls. I have used them in the dishwasher and the microwave with NO problems! Very happy so far. And they are so light!

This set is really beautiful. The plates are not "light weight" but they are not heavy either. They just have the right hand feeling... the type of weight you expect from a solid piece with good quality without being too heavy.The print is very beautiful. To any plant anatomy geek out there: I am sure this print is base on a monocot stem micrograph.
