My granddaughter has picked out 6 projects for me to crochet for her.

Full instructions to make lovely designs and many tips. I am used to US patterns but I had no issues making the garments, the graphs help a lot besides, the basic stitches are so repetitive that you get used quickly.

I can't wait to make some of these sweaters. They're so cute and look pretty easy to make.

I wish it was noted in the product description that this was written in UK terms. I guess I assumed it would be US given it was a new release in the US. I’m not sure it will be worth converting every pattern so this may get returned.

The book is lovely but did not know it was written using UK crochet terms!! I will have to write over the the UK terms and put US terms!! That makes it very hard! Wish that hadn’t order it.

This “fact” WAS mentioned in a well hidden review. It is very confusing to try to work a pattern where for every stitch you have to flip back to the translation pages! The pictures encourage the US buyer to believe the end results are easily attainable only to become mired down in endless page flipping. Once you have the book you have to go through the hassle of returning it…. Not an easy task for a senior citizen!!! Buying books from Amazon is not worth the time or trouble.

I pre-ordered this without being able to read a full description. I was disappointed that there are no patterns for men’s items. A book full of women’s clothes is useless for me.
