Best Boots for Snowshoeing
I'd been trying to find boots for snowshoeing, and striking out for a variety of reasons. My SO got the men's version, and I was so impressed with him I wanted to get some for myself. These are great. They are truly waterproof, which I tested by keeping them covered with snow during 5 straight hours of snowshoeing in the middle of a sleet-filled winter storm. The grip is fantastic, and I never had issues walking across icy areas. They are comfortable, and stayed secure on my feet even going up and down steep climbs. And! Most importantly, my feet stayed warm.I'd say they run true to size. My feet are short, but wide, and I'm usually a 6.5W or a 7 when buying sneakers or flats. I have found I need to go up a bit for winter boots to accommodate thick socks. I had ordered both the 7 and 7.5, and both fit relatively comfortably, but there was slightly more constriction on the 7 (which can lead to cold feet)--so I went with the 7.5. I was worried I might experience some slipping, but I found that once they were laced well my feet stayed secure. One thing I really like about these is the lack of hotspots and pressure points. I was really struggling to find boots that didn't create a pressure point at my ankles or my big toe joints--but these are completely comfortable, and I've had no issues with pain.I really recommend these as winter boots, and am very happy with them.

Awesome non-slip winter boots!
I ordered these after all my local shops had long cleared out their winter boot selection despite it being the middle of winter. Reviews were good and indicated they would be really a good choice for the icy winter we were having due to their Michelin rubber treads. I have been a long fan of Columbia winter boots, and with their cold rating and anti-slip I gave them a try.We were having awful ice (Wisconsin) and these boots shocked me at how well they performed on ice. I truly felt much more secure on the ice than I had felt in a long time. Really excellent slip protection on the ice.The boots are stiff and I wouldn't recommend long walks in them until you have them somewhat broken in or you will have sore calves/ankles. The boots are tall enough they are slightly taller than a "high-top" sneaker and therefore will press into the lowest point of your calf or upper portion of your ankle. The boot is a bit heavier than some boots but anything rated to -25 or colder is going to be heavy just to keep you warm. These are also not a fashion boot.I sized up when ordering to be sure I had good room for some thicker winter socks and because some warned that they ran a tough small. I can wear a ladies 10 or 10.5 and ordered a ladies 11, which was perfect for my feet plus some nice warm socks.I am so impressed that I immediately ordered my elderly mother a pair to give her some security on slippery surfaces in the winter.I highly recommend these boots from Columbia! If you like my review and find it helpful, please give it a 'yes.'

Best quality price ever. The most technical/estheticaly shoes I've ever tried.
The media could not be loaded. Wow, just an amazing product , in my opinion the best ever, for technology, best quality, and estheticaly beautiful product: for snow, after ski, and winter mountain walk, hiking or use just for cold weather, also for city. I've also bought one of this bugaboot IV omni plus for my husbend. The size is as described. I have usually 6 I've bought 6,5 and it's fits good, have another small space in front area, so the shoes have very hood insulation, waterfroof, and heat inside its perfect, more I keep shoes more I feel warm. If you want to use in very cold weather high mountains you can use additional cachemire socks or wool socks just if you want to stay out longer in freezing weather. For city use its enough just normal cotton socks. But for me this system omni heat plus it's OK both with regular socks. The delivery very fast from US to EU. The best shoes raporting price/quality. 100% recomanded 5 stars.

Well worth the money.
I use these for work; which is outdoors and in all elements. I walk anywhere from 8-14 miles a day and comfort/traction is important. This is my second pair. I put approximately 760 miles on the first pair, before the tread started to wear and the insole was definitely flat as a pancake. They are a wee stiff at first; took me about five days to get them worn in. Definitely not heavy to me. The traction is absolutely awesome on mud, loose dirt, slippery pavement - you name it these boots have got your feet. These are waterproof. My job does include standing in puddles and in running water anywhere from 2-6 inches deep and my feet have never gotten wet. They are hot; my feet never got cold in fall or winter...but please consider I live in the south and our winters aren’t very brutal. I have worn them in the summer; but for me the traction, stability and the not having wet feet far outweigh my feet being toasty in the summer.Well worth the money and break in time. Would definitely recommend these for trail and urban hiking (I do both).

comfort trails we hike!
This is an incredible boot; especially for the money. I have problem feet and these are magnificent to wear. I usually like to hike for a few hours and these hold up to that expectation with comfort and ease. I have had no blisters or sores from first day of use. These are so good for people who are disabled like myself that have foot problems. The toe bed is very generous and the arch support is superior. I bought these for the cold winter months but have used them this spring with temps being cool in the woods and up north. I did a lot of research on boots and these are A+

Canada North WInter/ice Boot
I wear a size 7.5 USA OR CANADA size and it fits exact to size with a normal foot, including I can wear a light to medium sock and perfect without crowding the toes. This boot I bought years ago. Bugaboot but not like this boot.this newer model is far top quality, more tougher winter sole Michelin tire bottom type rugged groves for grip in snow/ice. A mid hight boot 20 cm or near 10 inches tall. Perfect. The boot is not clunky looking but I am not from the big city for designer fashion. The cold north Canada winter I like my feet comfortable and warm to walk in and shovel snow and snowblower snow. I would wear these boots to our city any-day. Not fashion but yet so perfectly a top notch boot to wear with Jeans and not ugly either. I AM fussy. Laces are anti slip and eyelets stylish and yet bullish quality. I love these boots. Just for snow and comfort is my main reason to buy these because I bought them years ago and do they last year to year. Oh i am happy. Columbia never fails me.

Heavy Duty Boot.
These boots are solid, a little bulky and heavier that expected when walking around. The grip on these boots are pretty great, feels sturdy. I find that they fit a little wide. I don't know if I could wear these boots for a full day, they hard a hard sole and might need insoles if that is your purpose with the shoe.
