PORTER-CABLE 12IN Deluxe Dovetail JIG Combination KIT

Exactly what I wanted/ needed.

i first bought a general machinery as in harbor freight as in chinese junk and i returned it and got my money back. i then bought this jig and i couldnt be happier with it. the 4216 comes with everything i needed unlike the poorly made harbor freight ( not even a good boat anchor ) jig.

Needs extra parts to use, but easy to purchase.

This looks to be high quality. Unfortunately, the description did not state that it needed a router that could use Porter Cable guide bushings and has to have a 1/2 collet. The vendor claimed free shipping, yet the price was $30 more than advertised at Woodcraft or Lowe’s. I requested a. Return authorization but did not receive the courtesy of a reply. Vendor website states that returns are subject to 20% restocking plus cost of return freight. Instead of taking a hit of over $60 on a $180 item, I’m trying to upgrade the base plate and convert to a 1/2 collet on my existing router.

Product seems very good. Solid and precise manufacturing. Takes a bit to understand how to use it but has many options for joints.
