Nice vivid colors
One of my hobbies is woodturning (mostly bowls), where I frequently use two-part epoxy to fill voids and cracks. Typically, I color the epoxy with dark (almost black) color to keep a natural look, but on occasion, a pop of color is nice. I though these powders might provide a nice option for such use.To test it (see accompanying photo), I mixed two small amounts of epoxy, then used the powder (this is "violacea") in two ways. The sample on the right is mixed into the epoxy (my usual technique), where in the sample on the left , I dusted the epoxy with powder, then shook off the excess. The color shift effect in this sample is quite subtle (regardless of approach), but is present - much better than the photo shows. I also really like the shimmer created in the mixed-in sample. The sample where the powder was dusted on is a little duller than I prefer. Color is vibrant and pleasant. Not surprisingly, this stuff is messy! I only used the tiniest amount, but it ended up all over my desk. It's difficult to clean up, so I suspect I'm going to have a sparkly desk for a while. You may want to be careful where you use it.I found it interesting that virtually all the little canisters had some mica dust on them in the package. Finding one of the lids loose, I thought this might be due to it coming open in shipping, but then I noted that there was a seal on the jar. I suppose the packaging environment is pretty messy. This has no effect on the end product (which is going to be messy anyway), but in terms of first impressions, the manufacturer may want to consider ways to limit the mess a little when doing final packaging. I also wish the lids were marked with at least a sticker photo of the color in use to make selection a little easier. When I have more time, I intend to mix a little epoxy with each color and paint it on the lid top so I can select a color easily.

Duplicate colors
Really disappointed bought the 10 pack thinking I would get an array of colors but they are literally the same color with different name! So really got 7 colors plus they spilled in the box before I opened it!

Good product with packaging issues.
It's exactly what it says it is, good quality chameleon pigment powders. I tried them with resin and they worked great. They mixed well and the colors came through in the final product. My issue is with the packaging. One of the little tubs did not have the lid screwed on properly and the foil seal was broken, so that tub leaked and spread glittery pigment all over the box and each of the other tubs. The whole thing was shrink wrapped, so it must have come that way from the factory. It was a mess that took a while to clean up.

Beautiful Shimmering Color Shift Mica Powders
Photos just don't do these colors justice. The powders came in small sealed jars, however as another reviewer stated there was mica powder all over the inside of the plastic wrapped box. Each jar contains a fair amount of mica powder 5 grams each. I personally liked all of the colors but didn't really see a blue/green color shift powder that was advertised and there were two jars that looked white from the outside. I ordered these for nail art and it sort of worked, but not how I expected. The tutorials I saw state to brush on the powders, but I found it easier to mix it with a clear nail polish first and then apply that over a dark base coat.I think these would work best for epoxy resin art, which I don't do so I don't really have a great use for them. That said I've been trying to think of ways besides nail art to use them as they're just beautiful. I love the color shifting nature of these. I ordered them as I had painted my cane and walker using a color shifting spray paint and I really love the look of those. I wanted to try using them with nail polish. They do state for external use only and to wear a dust mask when working with them. You certainly don't want to inhale any of these.I didn't include photos because I just don't think they will give you an accurate indication of the color and shimmery nature of the powders. They're absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful mica
This mica is beautiful its a decent price. And it’s easy to use for epoxy or for making watercolor paints.

Beautiful but skimpy
I love the colors. I have three different sets and every set is gorgeous. However, this set compared to the others, the jars are not full. Some are 3/4 full and some are 1/2 full. It's disappointing since this set is more expensive yet I'm getting less product.

Really appears to be different colors with a change in the light
Lately I've been experimenting with different embellishments for my epoxy resin pours, so this chameleon mica powder seemed like something to try. I used one color to make two cat's paw items: a tiny box and a solid pendant. The color I chose to start with is a reddish brown color in the jar. It mixed into the resin easily and completely. As you can see from the pictures, in the first one the color brownish red. In the second picture,, with just a slight change in the lighting, the same pieces show up as a brownish orange color. In the third picture, with the front piece more in the shadow and the back piece out in full light, you can see the contrast in color between the two.I love it when a product does what it says it will do. From my very simple little experiment I have to conclude that this mica powder is very appropriately called "chameleon". I know I'm going to have fun using it. I'm sure you would too.
