These are nice, smaller LED lamps that are not meant to illuminate and area; these are indicators that should garnish some of your attention without distraction from other things at hand.Simple hook up, the bezel is nice quality, and it can be used with our without the many supplied indicator inserts.

I got these to install in my DIY 12V solar backup power system I am building. I am using a Lifepo4 battery and since the system is installed in my garage it can get pretty hot or cold depending on the season. Because of this I am installing a temperature control system on the battery enclosure with a thermostat that kicks on 12V fans when it gets too warm, or 12V heating pads when it gets near freezing.Since the fans are quiet and heating pads make no sound at all I want to have some sort of indicator to tell me if the fans or heaters have turned on. These lights are perfect for that. They will be installed in the same enclosure as the temp controller and one will turn on when it's cooling, the other when heating.The lights are fairly bright but not obnoxious. I tested them out by connecting the positive and negative lead to a 12V battery. They are pretty simple to install drill out the right size hole, put the light in, secure it with the included nut, then wire to a 12V power source and ground.The included indicator caps are pretty neat. They snap in securely and look good. I'm not sure if I am going to use any though, I may just use the included orange tinted caps.They are a bit smaller than I expected but that's on me, since they are listed as 1/2" which is accurate, I was just thinking they'd look bigger l.Overall they're pretty neat and work well.

These are nice little led indicator lamps. They glow brightly and can be used with or without the indicator symbols. It'd be nice to have a larger selection of symbols. But the indicator lights themselves were great.

These are great for adding a pilot / indicator lamp for any axillary component. I'm using this as a fan indicator on a water cooled four-wheeler because the exhaust is too loud and I can never tell if it's kicked on or not without looking. There is a variety of caps you can install if you want to show a certain icon, or you can just install the amber cap. Either way, the lamp itself is amber so you'll still get a colored icon / indicator when using those caps. The wires are good quality at 16 gauge in size. There's roughly a 4" pigtail for the positive and ground wires. The pilot hole for installation will be right at 12mm or 0.472" in diameter.

These indicator lights installed fast and easy. They are clear and the multitude of options for display make these useful for several different conditions.
