mechanically its pretty robust and has potential, can mill extremely light cuts in AL... but theres almost no support programs and documents, or at least they are hard to find (and chinese crap). I wish i payed a little more for something more complete.would only suggest for people who can modify programs with the arduino this works on.OR someone who has a bunch of research and knows exactly hwo to make things work with this.

I found the CNC 2417 Mini DIY Mill Router Kit to contain many useful parts and components. I used many of them to craft a larger (35cm by 25cm) version of the smaller DIY mill-router for speed, size, and larger materials/media. The Cronos Maker board was operationally superior to previous Woodpecker boards from my other CNC/Laser tools and included added functionality supporting bluetooth.. but needed more obvious documentation to augment, use, configurability, and adaptability for -/+ limit switching. As a neophyte, it would be a bit more comforting to know there is a good manufacturer support email option for questions and answers not addressed in the available blogs, DIY sites, and online product literature. ALL IN ALL .. I am very satisfied with the CNC 2417 Mini DIY Mill Router Kit, and its cost and features!

Small footprint for your desktop. While you can use software to move mill head into starting position, included knobs on shaft ends a real plus when setting up a project. Other machines I utilize do not have theses. I do us LaserGRBL as control software.
