He takes her under the guise of being a hostage because the two families may go to war. This book is full of Mafiaosa, love, danger, sexy scenes and an HEA. Read this book I highly recommend it.

I love it when Nichole dips her toe in the darker side. I think that it’s a trope gap that needs to be bridged more often.I love dark romance, mafia romance etc, but I also love the palette cleansing that Nichole writes. So for her to combine the two is something I wish I saw more of.Sometimes dark romance can bring with it a rush of anxiety. With some authors you don’t know if you’re ever going to come to the surface and take a breath, or drown in a strong current that’s foreboding. Never knowing if you will actually get that HEA.Nichole has pulled off a dark palette cleanser and it’s great. She needs to dip her toe in the dark side more because it IS something that she can pull off.Recommend this read. Well done Nichole!

Wow! This was amazing! Mafia romance and OTT obsessed hero’s are my catnip and this was the best!Luca Valentino took one look at his princess, Callandria, and knew she was his everything, he would burn the world for her! I LOVE Nichole’s writing. I LOVE that there is never anyone else for the hero or heroine from the second they set eyes on each other!Callandria is captured by the Valentino family after her grandfather kidnaps the Valentino bosses queen. Luca keeps her safe while the families ‘negotiate’ They fall for each other hard and fast. Luca is never giving her up no matter what happens in the ‘negotiations’ and despite her mob boss father arranging her marriage to another man! She is his!Hot, steamy, absolutely off the charts chemistry, the story had danger, suspense and a wonderful HEA.

Callandria and Luca's story was amazing! Callandria wanted out of the Mafia life but she knew she had no choice in it. Luca made Callandria realise that she could have everything she ever wanted out of life including love and a family.

Callandria Genovese is one strong woman, thrown from one mafia dynasty to another, and right onto Luca Valentino’s bed. The chains she finds herself in are both real and figurative and yet, Luca is the one person in the world who can and will set her free. In turn, Callandria becomes his entire world, and there is absolutely nothing Luca won’t do to savor and cherish the light and love she brings to him.This book was intense, dramatic, and so very satisfying. So hot, I loved Luca and Callandria! After being stolen from her home after her grandfather is taken out by the capo, she was not prepared to fall in love. Luca took the mafia princess to forge an alliance and stop a bloody war from wrecking their world. What he got was his soul mate. These two form a connection so strong, it is truly unbreakable. I loved the devotion between them, it was swoon-worthy. Can't wait for Gabe's story!

Callandria is at the wrong place at the wrong time and gets kidnapped by the rival Valentino family. Luca arrives home to find he has a captive, Callandria but one look and he knows he is keeping her, now he has to convince her to keep him and not just prevent war in this dark and dirty read.
