I got this rug for the play area in the kitchen, my six year old has two cube storage units full of toys in one corner of the room with a decent size area to play. I figured this would be perfect, she has a wonderful imagination and could to roleplay with her cars and people on the rug. It arrived rolled up and shrink wrapped, and I thought it was fairly lightweight for a rug this size. When I opened it I saw why. The top is more of a fleece material. It feels more like a blanket than a rug. (Which also probably explains the low cost). To me it feels more like a slightly stiff blanket than a rug, but it does have small grippers on the back to help hold it in place. As you can see in the picture, being rolled up left some wrinkles on it, I’m hoping those smooth out with time. It’s a good size area rug,for size reference, my six year old is laying on it in the photo and she is 47 inches tall. Overall it’s really cute, it seems decently made, and it gives my daughter a soft place to sit and play, and can be an interactive part of the playing, so I definitely recommend this play rug. Just be aware of what it is when buying. If you’re ok with that, then you’ll love this!

Not sure how this would be after being washed, but it lays flat, is soft and the kids love it!

VERY soft material. But also thick enough it stays in place. Loved that it's not too busy of a patern.

For the price, I expected a rug I could leave out in my son’s room for the kids to play daily. It is a thin foam pad with soft fabric. In order to protect the pad, it needs to be picked up after each use.

Just like picture, it is large, colorful, plush. Highly recommend!

My mom and I got this for my kids this Christmas and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of it. I got a road rug for them a couple years ago but it was rough and cheap and fell apart quickly, but this one is soo soft and squishy and seems easy to clean if any spills happen. Was for sure a big hit this Christmas!
