They aren't thick, but rather just an extra layer to save the skin from getting torn up. Suivant les indications sur les tailles j ai pris la taille L mais trop petites pour ma fille qui ne fait que 35kg... et tellement fines que ça ne protège rien. Je renvoi cet article inutile.
