JALLWake Up Light Sunrise Alarm Clock, Wood Grain

I almost pulled the trigger on the $130 model but went for this one instead. I have to say this one performs great. I have a wife and two kids and I wake up much earlier than them for the gym and work. In order for me to get out of bed I would set my phone alarm across the room but every morning when the alarm would go off I’d wake up in a panicked hurry to turn it off and not wake the house. I felt like this started my day off on the wrong foot being jolted awake this way. So I bought this clock.. it’s great. It slowly wakes me up and does so without waking up the entire house. If for some reason I roll over or don’t wake up to the light alone (which is rare) birds begin chirping through the clock at the set alarm time. I like that you can set how quickly the light increases too. Great guy. I’ve had it for several months now and it’s been great.

Warning: I've only had this clock for 1 morning, so I can't attest to the long-term durability. However - it is a game changer for the morning. I don't have the loud, blaring, hateful morning alarm anymore. It was a gentle and peaceful wake-up.Pros:1) The light on this clock gradually gets brighter until it reaches the brightness level you set. You can tell it how long you want your sunrise to last. I set my clock for a 10 minute sunrise and I want to be up at 5:50am, so the sunrise will start at 5:40.2) White noises are included, but optional.3) You can turn off the display at night, so you don't have that annoying red display light lighting up your room all night. This is clutch for me - I need to sleep in the dark.4) It's not "smart". I super dislike all of my things connected to my phone or my wifi. This is just an alarm clock that plugs into the wall. Like an alarm clock should.5) has three settings for alarm days: M-F only, S-S only, every day. I like not having to worry about remembering to turn off my alarm clock on the weekends6) Includes an FM radio option for an old-school morning.7) You don't need to start your day with a disrupting and jarring noise that makes everything in your soul hate the stupid morning and everything in the stupid morning.8) Because it was a gentle wake-up, I didn't feel like I needed to snooze a bunch of times.Cons:1) the included white noise options are pretty terrible.2) there are A LOT of options. You really have to read through the instruction manual. What color do you want your morning light? What noise do you want to accompany your light? What brightness level do you want? How long do you want your sunrise to last? There are a zillion combos, and it can get overwhelming.3) snooze feature is weird if you have a 10 minute sunrise. The snooze is 9 minutes. So if you have your sunrise last 10 minutes, the snooze sunrise starts immediately, since it's a 10 minute cycle in a 9 minute pause.Notes: I wake up sunlight pretty easily. If you can sleep in a brightly lit room until noon, this probably isn't going to help you.

I struggle to get up in the mornings, especially in the middle of winter. I've had this for a few weeks now and it's awesome! I set it for 7 with 30 minutes of dawn (so it starts getting bright at 630) and I've routinely been getting up before 7! Usually I would snooze till almost 8. I love that there is an option to turn off the audio, as I just like the light to turn on. Also I feel like the controls are pretty intuitive and easy to set.My two complaints are:1. I wish there was a way to disable the time display. I like to sleep in the dark and the time display is rather bright - I don't care what time it is in the middle of the night! I've been putting cloth in front of it to block where the time displays and I may put some dark tape over it.2. Since I've been waking up in the "dawn" portion before the alarm "goes off", I hold the top button to turn it off. However when it hits the alarm time it will come on at full brightness.

Love this alarm clock! It’s perfect for my toddler’s room. Customer service was excellent as well.

Returned - the alarm didn’t go off reliably.

The settings are fiddly and difficult to read, at least on the wood grain color. The light itself does work and the color and tone is fine. But it just tries to do too much. It needs to settle, focus.

I didn’t expect real wood but something resembling the look of wood. This was an ugly sticker you’d see on kids toys. Also searched for this clock by brand name and found it cheaper on Amz. Was not offered the cheapest price.

After a few months the alarm just does not go off. The light comes on but no sound. The FM radio is working but all the other sounds do not.EDIT** company reached out fast and offered to replace it free of charge! They said it’s a life time warranty!!
