This is a great pole combo. It was easy to set up. It is a very light weight and seems very well built. I caught ten fish my first time out. This is my first fly pole set up and it was easy for me to use. The case keeps it all together in a nice small area. For the price I would highly recommend it.

This is a great beginner set up for myself. I like the price point as well.The logo however is a little too similar to the Schutzstaffel’s. I only noticed this as I was assembling it. I removed it from the pole handle and the bag.

Ok so here's the skinny! I ordered the one shown above black pole with bright green cork and accents. HOWEVER, that is not the pole that I received as you can see in the picture I received a green and gold with natural cork Pole. I would have liked to have gotten the color that I ordered but same time it really doesn't matter it still works the same. First time using this I caught four fish. Really nice sized sun fishThe Pole: As far as the pole itself pretty solid construction it flexed it did not break I would say it's a rather solid Pole. It is a four piece Pole. It came in a very nice sleeve that keeps all the pieces protected and separated.The Reel: It does not come prespooled! If you do not know how to attach all of the different strings meaning the backing line the fishing string itself as well as the leader material all of that comes individual and you have to learn how to do it YouTube is your friend. It does come with a book it's not a great book but it does the job for the most part. The one caveat that I will say is you need to go out and buy a tube of reel butter. Once you have the reel butter take the real 100% apart be careful there are small pieces do this on a table so you don't lose any once you take it apart remove all the grease that came from the factory it's garbage it does not last long replace it with the real butter once you do check everything make sure it's good and your real will be so much better. The reason I'm saying that is after about maybe 15 to 20 cast my real jammed. Once I took it apart I found metal shavings everywhere I cleaned it out greased everything property with the before mentioned Grease and it works great!Flys: As far as the flies that come with it to be honest they're not great they're okay to practice with but if you want to catch things I will go out and buy your own flies.The Case: the case is very nice it has a solid tube to keep the poles from getting damaged it has a nice pocket you can put a lot of things in it the one thing I do wish that it did have was another pocket on the other side to put a larger sized fly case in to keep everything together.

My husband wants to learn to fly fish. This is a great starter set at a very fair price. So far it’s been pretty easy to use and very sturdy.

I never used anything but the rod, and after it broke while picking up a half pound crappie, I returned it for a full refund. I never used the reel or line or leader. I did try one of the flies but it didn't catch anything, so I went back to the flies that I tied which work.

This combo has what you need to get started in fly fishing. The rod and reel are excellent quality. It is a well balanced setup that makes for comfortable casting. There is enough backing and fly line to fill up the spool nicely. The storage case is sturdy to keep the rod and reel safe when storing or traveling. I was surprised at how well the fly line casts. I normally like cork grips, but I have to say that the polymer grips are very nice and won't require the maintenance that cork does. This is a nice setup that will get you on the water catching fish.

This fly fishing setup is by no means perfect. But, at about $80, it is pretty great! You get everything you need to get started. Setting it up was quick and easy, youtube helps. The reel is pretty nice. Pretty smooth and easy to use. The rod is light and casts well. The included won't win any awards, but they look good enough. I think this is a pretty good setup to get you started on fly fishing.

Overall quality of the rod, reel and case are very good. As others have said, the accessories are lacking in terms of quality. The combo is a very good value and priced separately would be much more than the combo. Very satisfied.
