This leash and collar combo are amazing. We are so happy and our boy is comfortable and handsome in the color. The material is easy to clean, durable yet not harsh on the pup (or our hands). A little on the expensive side but worth it.

I've been looking for a collar that holds up to my active dog. He rolls, runs, rough houses with his buddies, and loves to muck around in the creeks. I usually have to replace his nylon collars once a year as they get frayed and stained.I got this collar in the hope that it is much more durable and stain resistant than the ones I usually get at the big box pet stores.So far it has held up to his abuse and still looks nice and new.Other than the price - it's the most I've ever spent for a dog collar - my only complaint is that the material is fairly rigid and there's a loop near the buckle where I've adjusted the collar to fit my dog's neck. You can see it in the photo.I hope the material will soften and the loop closes so the collar lays flat.A very good looking collar and a beautiful color against my pup's coat.So far I like it - let's see how it holds up this year!

We have two German Shepherd’s and one of them had chewed through two very expensive leather collars in less than one week. We have had this collar for over a month and it is in perfect condition. I highly recommend this product.

I was needing to get a larger collar for my now 10 mo old golden retriever. I have always used nylon "buckle" style collars given the ease at attaching/removing these collars. The one issue I've always had though with nylon was when they get wet. Our goldens are always getting into water (lake, pool, puddle) and these collars would slightly smell after weeks of getting wet. So, I was looking for a waterproof collar that helps prevent the absorption of water and dog hair oils into the collar. This FABLE collar fits the bill! I have not had our dog in water yet, but its spring and summer is just around the corner. The material seems well made and strong. I did run it under water and was pleased with the collars shedding of any moisture. The one thing I hope will resolve over the coming weeks is the form around his neck. Given the sturdy material, it was not as flexible around his neck in some areas. A bit bulky. But I suspect after this material gets more used and worn, it will be a sturdy collar, will free form around his neck, and be a significant upgrade over the nylon variety for the rest of his life. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a waterproof collar that helps prevent collar odor.

This is a really sturdy product that will last a long time. It is rubber-coated, so it won't absorb dirt the way a nylon collar does. That's the good part. That bad part is that the coating makes it stiff so that if you use it with most or all of the slack taken up it leaves a big loop that won't flatten out, as shown in the first picture. That's the size it needs to be for my dog. It does not look good and it could also easily get caught on something (e.g., running in the woods). The second photo shows what it looks like when fully opened to maximum diameter. If that's what I needed, that would be great. The third photo shows the buckle, which is called "auto-buckle" in the product description. That's what caught my eye. It's really just a standard push-in buckle. It's fully aluminum, so should never rust, and the mechanism latches really firmly, so it should never pop out inadvertantly.

An ordinary collar priced more than twice what it merits.

This is a beautiful baby blue dog collar I ordered for my yellow Labrador. He has a Fi collar, but he always needs a backup, and this seemed to be the best, most comfortable collar I could find. It looks nice on him and was easy to adjust to fit his neck perfectly.The collar is soft, pretty, lightweight, but it's a little stiff at its upper and lower edges. It's waterproof and very sturdy, but I'm not sure how comfortable this collar would be for my dog all the time. He wears this now when his Fi collar is charging, and sometimes I forget to swap out his collars and he wears the Fable collar for a longer time.My dog doesn't scratch or try to bite his Fable collar, but I don't thin the edges of this collar are as comfortable as his regular collar. Maybe it's all in my head, but the Fable collar, while beautiful and soft, is still pretty rigid. I guess it takes time to soften up and fit more comfortably.I love that the Fable collar is waterproof, because I'm hoping to introduce my Lab to the water this summer. I only got him in November, and he has no interest in water, but we'll see.Excellent, soft, lightweight, waterproof dog collar that's very easy to put on and take off but is a bit stiff and rigid at the edges of the collar. I'm sure this gets better with time, so we'll wait and see, and he'll wear his pretty pale blue Fable collar along with his blue Fi collar. The Fable collar is an excellent product, just stiff at the edges, but I'm sure that breaks in and softens up in no time flat. This is an excellent product, a lightweight collar that's also waterproof and easy to adjust. Highly recommend this collar.
