If total reliance for mounting the two parts of this device is placed upon the 3M adhesive pads, the installer is advised to allow 24 hours to elapse after initial installation before testing the effectiveness of the device because the magnetic attraction of the two parts is impressively strong and will therefore demand the highest adhesive strength of the 3M pads.

I've been using these magnetic door stops for a few weeks now, and I must say they're quite impressive. Installation was relatively simple, especially with the adhesive pads, which saved me from drilling into my walls. I applied the door stop to hold my bedroom door open, and the magnet is robust, ensuring the door stays put, even with occasional drafts.However, the adhesive pad did come off once, but reapplying it was straightforward, and it has held up well since. I appreciate that the set includes extra adhesive pads. The magnets are strong enough that sometimes I need to misalign them slightly to avoid having to yank the door shut.These door stops perform well for internal doors, although they might not be ideal for external use as some users reported rust issues. Overall, they are a stylish and functional addition to my home, keeping the doors from slamming shut unexpectedly.

The magnet feature is a good strength to hold doors open but also has good given to release.Installation was straight forward. My only complaint is to use your own screws. As the ones they supply are cheap and may snap off. But the main product itself is great

Am using on a gate for my dog . The only issue is that the arm that goes to the magnet doesn’t stick very well to my gate Anne I’ve also used very strong adhesive

Bought for outdoor use on our garden room doors and would not recommend them for this purpose. Poor quality screws as two heads snapped off. Don't understand why one catch has hidden screws and the other exposed ones, it looked as though I had fitted two different catches. They rusted in no time and one lost it's magnetism.

I love these. I’ve gotten them twice in my old house and new house. My garage door is fairly heavy and really closes on its own pretty immediately. This will attach easily and holds very well. I used the 3m instead of drilling and it is such a strong hold. Perfect for what I needed and a great price!

The product is STURDY. Based on a few reviews, I was hesitant. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It was also very easy to install. Another feature is that for the install, it gives an option for screwing it in or using the adhesive option. We chose the adhesive which holds VERY well. The magnet does hold well. Depending on how you connect the magnet will determine how much the strength of the magnet holds.I was so impressed with the first pair that I invested in another. The results were the same. I would, without reservation, recommend this product. It’s well made and does the job. I have to give a gentle pull for one door because the hold is quite bold, but I don’t mind that at all.I hope my feedback will be instrumental for anyone who is considering purchasing this door stop.

Don’t buy this product! The magnets don’t work. They did not provide the 3M tapes and overall very low and cheap quality. Don’t waste your money on this!

These are very well designed and quality made. I installed two - interior door and exterior door. I used the included screws. Worked very well! I pre-drilled to make the install better. Very happy! Very good quality for the price!
