The box fell apart before the carrots were mature and after the returns window closed.How would I be able to return a broken box anyway?Dirt everywhere .

I ordered two of these. They both arrived with broken parts. It was the SAME broken part in both boxes. There seems to be a manufacturing error. The staples are not angled correctly to attach to the wood slats resulting in cracks and breaks and un-attached slats. I contacted the manufacturer. They said contact Amazon. Amazon recommends contacting the manufacturer. I would really like the manufacturer to stand behind their product. Not happy with the product or the customer service so far.Update!!! I ordered a replacement (#3) and it was broken too. Have to return. DO NOT BUY THIS. You will regret it and have to send it back. Poor manufacturing. NO quality control.

I love the look and scent of this planter. I think it will be very versatile.

Cedar is beautiful, smells good, and lasts a long time. The finish on this planter is excellent but you can see where they have joined pieces of cedar together with scissor like cuts. (see photos of some but they are all over every side) This planter only needs 8 screws to assemble - however you do need a power driver to get them in. Mine went askew when I was driving the screws so had to take some out and do it over. The pieces are aligned with cut outs and inserts but it popped out while fastening. I wish I had taken photos while assembling but really that information is usually provided. There is a bottom that fits easily with a drain hole in the center. There is a black plastic liner included. I must admit I was wondering about planting in such a beautiful planter and a liner makes sense except I guess you must punch a hole in the bottom to drain. I imagine you are still supposed to put a pot inside the planter and not plant directly in the black plastic. I went back to the Amazon page this planter is on looking for more information, there is none. That is why 4 stars. It would also be good to know if the cedar is treated for weather or if a top coat is recommended. Yes I have a beautiful cedar planter box, but lots of unanswered questions. $99.99 - I don't think so. My opinion.

Very cheap quality material. Difficult to assemble due to poor placement of nails.

We bought five planter, and they were delivered quickly.Three of them came broken. I got in contact with the company and, after sending pictures of the broken ones, they agreed to send replacements.Two of the replacements came broken in exactly the same places as the original ones. I asked for my money back on those two and the company announced that they would send yet more replacements, but then they gave me my money back for those two without me having to ask again.Their customer service is truly amazingly good. I wish the boxes were half as good. The planter boxes that came unbroken are very pretty and very functional. We are happy with them.

This is an excellent product, a beautiful Canadian cedar elevated wood planter that measures 20"D x 16"W x 18"H and smells absolutely wonderful for a long, long time after you take it out of its box. It looks beautiful on my patio, but it's too cold here yet to plant anything in it.I had no trouble putting this together. It has tongue and groove fittings for the sides and the fronts, and it's easy to put those together. I used an electric screwdriver, and it went together very easily. The holes for the screws that hold it together are already there for you when you put it together. Now I just need something to put in it.The wood is beautiful, smells wonderful, and I'm going to keep it inside until I decide when to plant and what to plant in this. It weighs 11.18 pounds, so it's easy to transport out to the patio when I'm ready and should be easy enough to bring inside, dirt, plants, and all, if I plant something I want to keep alive over the winter.Along with all the wood panels, screws, etc., there's a black plastic bag that fits into the pot, which I guess is to keep it dry on the inside after you've planted something in it and are watering it or it's out in the rain. Now this planter is making me anxious for spring to come.Excellent product, a beautiful Canadian cedar elevated wood planter that measures 20"D x 16"W x 18"H and smells wonderful when you open the box and afterward. I'm keeping mine inside so I can look at it all the time until I can plant something in it, and what to plant is going to be a hard decision. I think red flowers would look great with the cedar, but we'll see. This is a fine product, well made, easy to assemble, that should last for years to come, and I highly recommend this for anyone who loves plants and flowers, wants to grow herbs, and wants an elevated wood planter. This one smells so good!

I wanted to wait a bit to write a review. Easy to put together and it looks great. After it being outside on my front porch I can say it’s still looking great.
