Having discovered I had memory problems my hardest task was to determine which of the two RAM chips was faulty. This I achieved by taking them out one at a time and swapping them with a tedious power off reboot required each time.Replacing the faulty RAM is a simple matter of matching the chips and clipping in the replacement after first making sure you are grounded. Static charges kill chips!

Bought this for a nas that needed more memory. To be honest I bought it because it was cheap cheap cheap and as it was amazon I could return it if it didn't work. I'd never heard of QUMOX before and I normally take a "known brand" approach to memory - but this was for an older home nas.It works fine and has identical memory timings to the existing memory that was in the nas so it isn't even mismatched. It's been in the machine for a couple of months now with some heavy use (raid 5 rebuild due to disk failure) and has just been doing the job.

It's working fine for the last 5 months.

Reasonably quick delivery, worked well. As my PC is an "all in one", I struggled a little to separate the casing, but once inside it was easy to install.

I already had 1 x 8GB Qumox in my HP 15-ab088na (for over 1 year), buying an additional 1 x 8GB stick has increased the performance and usability.

My laptop has no access panel, so fitting this is fun. But, the results speak for themselves.
