This is a great addition to my kitchen! This product is amazing and does what it should! I love it!!

Aesthetics is the main thing this set is about: an amber orb from which you dispatch plates for two. The glass has a warm, light amber color. The outer surface resembles hammered copper, and the result is a very natural-looking fragmentation of amber light in the thick glass. Not the usual flat-surface glass dinnerware, anything but boring. I think it matches best a summer sunset or warm evening lights, but nothing prevents use at any other hour of the day or night. Stylish, that’s the right word.These are made of pressed glass, not crystal. The set comes perfectly packaged in a sturdy cardboard box with foam inserts in which each part of the orb is separated from the others. There are no instructions inside the box, and the box exterior has pictograms for microwave resistant, dishwasher safe and low and high temperature rated dinnerware. But the wording under these pictograms is not in English, it’s probably Chinese. The packaging is only partially translated into English. The description on the amazon page states these are dishwasher and microwave safe, and one of the pictures states they can go from 14 F to 428 F. I would really like an info statement with the product with the temperature range before subjecting them to such extremes: thick glass like this may crack on rapid heating or cooling.

One of the plates and the flat plate cracked in half after less then two min in the microwave on first use. Have not had any issues with the others pieces as of yet. Beautiful to display, bummed it did not work out.

I don't know how practical this is but it's really friggen cool looking. The amber color is beautiful, and it has this really neat uneven "hammered" texture that makes me want to touch it.I've got a pretty long dining table so I put this in the middle with a couple decorative things beside it and it looks really cool. If you've got a really big dining table you could get 2 or 3 of these and place them on the table as part of the decorations, then disassemble everything when you're ready to serve food.One ball is for 2 people. It has 2 high-rimmed plates and 2 bowls. There's only one flat piece in the middle of each plate/bowl set so I used that odd piece for random things like dinner rolls, condiments or for a big candle (cuz sometimes you gotta set the mood!)The listing says it's dishwasher and microwave safe but I haven't tested that out yet.This would make an amazing housewarming gift!

It is unique and could readily be displayed as a piece of art until used. I struggled with not keeping it for myself because I liked it so much. This set is super beat and fits together without issue. It definitely is stable when stacked, and as long as you pick it up from the bottom bowl, is easy to move around securely while it is. The set is definitely capable of being used for regular meals, but I am saving this for holidays or get togethers as a conversation starter, serving tray set. I would love to have this same setup in multiple other colors, and I love the amber tone and how it gives it an almost vintage look. The glass is thick, but not crazy bulky. It definitely has a good weight to it as well. I personally love this. No complaints. Would make a great gift for anyone who loves their dinnerware, or anyone that has a small space for storing dishes, as you can quite literally make this a decoration when not in use. Decoration through the day, dinnerware at night.
