Great value. Works good
I installed this on my car trailer and it does everything I want it to do. I would buy this again absolutely. I wired it up so I can hook it up to the tow vehicles battery. The yellow wire doesn’t come with the winch. Remotes work awesome!

Excellent winch from an OUTSTANDING company
Their customer service department ROCKS - caring and very responsive. Worked hard to make everything right with me - best I've seen on Amazon - thanks!Bought this winch because it was like one I have that is not available. Must say the solenoid concept is of power transfer is good, but parts are very poorly made ... fragile control wires that break quickly and easily, certainly not what I would expect for a 4500 pound tough winch. Although the winch is well made and one of best on market, what good is it if you cannot use it because of broken controls?? Fix the control box and transformer and this will be the supreme winch to buy for sure :)

A great starter winch for most people!
I think this is a great starter winch for most people and uses. It's not as strong as I had hoped but overall I'm really impressed with this little machine. On our test runs, it was able to pull my Ranger up out of a ditch with a slight incline without much of a problem. Pulling out some large fallen trees seemed to max it a bit but it still did the job. It's pretty darn quiet when it runs although I've heard quieter. I do wish the remote control was a bit higher quality, but you can't complain for the price. I've only used it a few times so I can't speak for wear and tear and longevity yet, but it's basically meant for rescuing us if we get in a bind, and pulling some logs as needed, so it will suffice. I do wish it came with a stop, I hate having to buy one separately.

Awesome winch with remote
Excellent fit on my 2023 Honda Pioneer 500, way more than needed. Using with plow and has been excellent with the remote, didn’t hook up the switch!! Have got a minimal amount of fraying on synthetic rope, will see how long it lasts. Lots of use with all the snow this winter!!!

Didn’t work the first time I needed it.
The fist time I actually wanted to use it 8 months after installing it, it didn’t work. I’m old and don’t ride hard or like mud or water much. The relay solenoid clicks but doesn’t provide power on the output side. I have 13 VDC on the inlet side. I know it was cheaper than a Warn, but give me a break. Lesson learned.

Works good for the price.
Straight forward install though doesn't come with any directions. Wires could be a tad bit longer, I actually bought and spliced in little more wire to finish routing the wire to the battery at back of my atv way I wanted. Works good though. Haven't yet programmed the remote but the hardwired switch works fine that came with brackets for handlebar install. Fairly simple as long as your atv has good mounting setup already.

You will get exactly what you paid for.
The media could not be loaded. I went into this install understanding that this winch kit is 1/4 the price of Polaris’ Warn winch system, but you DO get more bang for your buck if you don’t mind a bit of trouble shooting.I installed this unit on my 2022 Polaris RZR XP4 1000.First and foremost: The instructions are incorrect for the wireless receiver.•The *small* yellow wire from the receiver goes to the *small* BLUE outside wire on the relay.•The *small* white wire from the receiver goes to the *small* black wire on the relay.Connect the power directly to the battery. If you use the accessory cluster under the hood, it will cause the gauge cluster to flicker-which is harmless but can get annoying. Also, connecting the winch to the accessory cluster may cause the winch to chatter in one direction or the other. This is also fixed by connecting directly to the battery. I ended by having to order two 10’ 8 gauge wire leads to accommodate the length of my machine. The remotes should’ve been designed to be used with gloves on. They remotes themselves use 12v garage door batteries and feel fairly cheap but they work just fine. The remotes should’ve been designed to be used with gloves on. They remotes themselves use 12v garage door batteries and feel fairly cheap but they work just fine. The remotes themselves should be designed to be used with gloves as many people use their winch for plowing. They’re fairly cheap feeling but they do the job.Bottom line: the Fireyred Winch is absolutely worth the money. Just plan on spending some time with the wiring.

Wiring
I wired it as per wiring diagram and the remote works properly but the manual switch does not work at all. After checking i found a second wiring diagram in instructions this diagram shows the red from switch going to + so i changed it and everything works properly. The first diagram in the instructions shows the red from switch going to - on battery. Hope the manufacturer sees this post and changes their instructions
