The little red ball on the end is certainly functional in keeping the fruit on, but they also add a touch of color and uniformity that really made the platter look inviting.I only had one little ball come off. I recommend these for your party kabobs. Just the right size, too.

They were the perfect size and looked festive on the platter. They are sturdy enough to hold meat. I was careful to keep the red ball away from the marinade, as I was not sure if the color would come off when exposed to the dressing.
