Did not feel right, though fit
The electrode on this I don't think is the right setup or material or maybe needs something else used with this.

It works
This is sort of like a brace with electrodes in it. It worked quite well. I have had trouble in the past keeping the pads on and around my elbow. That seems to no longer be an issue. The brace itself does not appear to be of great quality. It has two velcro straps, one above the elbow, one below. It is a bit on the small side. I am 5'10” 160 lbs, and it was quite difficult to get it strapped on. The velcro reached just far enough to cover itself. There really is no divot or slot for the elbow to naturally sit it, it is just a flat piece of material, so it does not really conform to the elbow. My TENS unit uses the snaps, but the part of the snap that is on the brace was sunk so far down into the material, it made it extremely difficult to snap my on my cables. Needless to say, I left it snapped on once I finished my session. So, for all the problems I had with the brace itself, it was worth it. As I stated before, I had a lot of difficulty keeping the pads on my elbow as well. At least once I got this brace put together and on my arm, there was nothing more to deal with. The poor craftsmanship that went into this brace is my reason for the 3 stars. If I was to rate it on effectiveness alone, it would be 5 stars.

poor fit, even worse proformance!
We have a few TENS units in our household, and we have been using them for years, as my wife and I are very active individuals who get sore from our endeavors - so I'm pretty comfortable giving review:Avoid this attachment - it does not operate as sold.First and foremost the is the fit. If the cuff cannot make good solid contact with the tissue, you're not going to get the connective charge to pass. This cuff seems to be made for a child or a person with no biceps. If this is in fact for children, then it needs to be sold as such, or make other sizes. I'm not obese or a linebacker in build, but of a rather standard build and I could barely get this around my upper forearm, much less my lower bicep. What of the Velcro I could coax into adhering would come undone as soon as any bend in my arm was made, so even getting it ON was a challenge.Since I was having considerable difficulty using this, my wife offered to give it a go. Shes not a large woman by any stretch of the imagination, but getting this properly placed was a challenge, and again, no flexibility when you try to bend the elbow - so it will take an assistant to put it on (as properly as possible).Once we got it on we ran into issues getting the standard TENS electrode wires to connect. These look to be standard snaps, but are actually just a millimeter or so too large, making us have to force them to snap into place - with the cuff removed. Now that we've put this on her for a second time, and there seems to be good skin contact we can see if it actually works - which it does not, *initially* - on TWO different units (units that work fine with the stickon style electrodes) in a full range of settings. Now i say "*initially*" because we did get one impulse when one device was reaching its maximum output setting, and my wife tore the cuff off, thinking her arm was getting burned suddenly. FAIL!So none of these, much less one of these, makes me feel comfortable even giving a single star. Its a waste of material to say the least, and possibly dangerous at the most.Stay away.

Super convenient over sticky pads!
The media could not be loaded. This is a must-have for any TENS device and a major convenience over sticky pads. The elbow pad is good for more than just your elbow; it has a cutout for your elbow but you can use it on your forearm, bicep, and lower legs. It's too small for your knee or thigh, and possibly your bicep if you're too muscular. It can be a little difficult to put on by yourself if you're putting it on your arms so you might want to get someone to help strap it on or try to slip your arm through it. To help the pad make good electrical contact with your skin, you just need to wet the gray strips slightly or wet your skin.I definitely prefer this type of electrode for TENS use over sticky pads and this works great!

Works well (if used correctly)
If you've never used a brace with built-in electrodes, the most important thing to know is this: for it to work correctly, moisture *must* be introduced (contact gel, or simply water); otherwise, it will hurt like an adhesive electrode making poor contact. I find that a very light misting of water over the electrodes is enough for at lease one 45-minute session, and I apply another light misting if I have to reposition the brace after some use.I've had poor luck with adhesive electrodes in this area, to the point that I usually resort to placing the electrodes followed by putting on a compression elbow brace -- the Pelvifine brace saves time and aggravation, all while providing much better coverage than standard square electrodes -- it works so well that turning my TENS unit to maximum would be very painful.But... As other reviewers have noted, it's rather small (check the dimensions in the listing). I can get enough of the velcro to engage and not come off during use, but I have to take my time putting it on.Despite its small-ish size, the Pelvifine brace does the job well and is a good value considering how many adhesive electrodes it will save over time.
