Executive Shaving Large Acacia Wood Shaving Soap Lathering Bowl with Lid

I bought this to hold Kent Shaving Soap It is certainly the right size. Unfortunatly, the bottom of this bowl is rounded (concave) and the Kent soap cake is flat so does not sit flat on the bottom. This feature was not evident in the photos or description. Water pools in the base and needs to be let out occassionally.If you are a user of soap that has a rounded botton it might be perfect. Other than that is nicely made, feels smooth to the touch and the lid fits nicely on the bowl. A very impressive looking item.

This was bought with the shaving brush holder ( sold separately, Walnut not Acacia), it is really lovely and feels well made. Holds the shaving soap perfectly.Made an impressive and useful gift.

Awful quality, main bowl has wood filler in a large crack and score marks.I thought if I spent a bit more money the quality would be good. I wouldn't have paid more than £2 for it.

This lathering bowl is extremely high quality and has been a pleasure to add and use as part of my shaving routine.
