My kiddos love playing with toy sets like these and farm animals are always a popular theme. This kit sounds like a hefty piece count, but lots of the pieces go into constructing the barn. Be prepared to assist in building the barn to help stave off frustration from younger fingers. My kiddos enjoy the various elements, like the tractors pulling a wagon full of logs and making fences for the animals. It’s easy to get caught up in the details, like the scale of the animals being rather bonkers. If your kiddo is a massive stickler for detail, it may be irritating, but if they’re just in it for some silly fun, this set delivers. We had a good chuckle about the various sizing differences between animals, with the oversized rabbit being especially giggle worthy. If you’re going for extreme realism, you won’t necessarily find it here, but if you just want a neat little play set to keep young imaginations and hands occupied, this one does the job!

It's best assembled by 2 people, the way that the barn is designed. It took maybe about half an hour or so. My son had fun playing with all the pieces and positioning them in different places once the assembly was complete. For storing, it'd be best to find a box that would fit the assembled barn; even though the bin it comes in is a nice quality--similar to the bins LEGOs come in. My son noticed that many of the animals are about the same size; as in they are not realistically scaled.My impression as a parent was that the assembly was more difficult than I would've thought this kit would be. It's a fun little kit though, and I appreciate the bin it comes in for longer-term storage when the barn is ready to be put away on toy rotation.

This farm set proved to be a hit with the kids who come over.I tend to rely on them to playtest toys, as I'm just a little bit outside of the target age range...If you are looking for a farm toy, this a pretty good option

I got this to use as an outdoor scene for my dollhouse. The set is cute and fun, but the scale is off within the set. The animals are too large for the people but are still usable. I decorated one tractor and trailer as a parade float, and the people fit on the trailer well. I like the trees and will use those and the housepets with the dollhouse.

Buildings are hard to assemble, everything is very small, animals are cute and you do get a good amount of them.
