Already trim and fit? This is great for you!
I'm working hard to shed some pounds. I'm already down 25 lbs by working out at home to dance videos and monitoring my food intake on sparkpeople.com (FREE). It took me three months to lose that weight. I wanted something challenging and high cardio to help me over the plateau.Well, I guess I got what I wished for. The problem is, I can't do these moves yet. I can learn them quickly enough, but I'm not in good enough shape to do them (not even close). Most workout DVD's I've seen, the instructor gives some modifications for those who are not quite ready for the hardest moves. In this video, the instructors go very quickly, and the moves are intense. If you don't have at least some background in dance, I would not recommend this. I also don't recommend this to people who do not already exercise regularly or for people (like me) who are technically obese and trying to shed pounds.I am going to keep this around, though. I plan to plug away at it, slowly, until I can finally do it. Until then, I think it's back to my other DVDs that I'm getting bored with. :(

Not for beginners
I am a very regular exercises, I have zumba, dancing with the stars, crunch cardio and 10 min solutions. I found this dvd to be ok. The first time around it is pretty hard, but they all are, in my opinion. If you are a beginner than this is not for you. It has a bunch of standard moves used on all the mentioned dvd, but they don't explain them to you, so if you don't know the step you are trying to watch and copy the move. Not a very easy way to learn. If you exercise consistently than you will probably enjoy this.

fun and entertaining
I have no prior dancing experience and read the reviews that said you would need some but bought this product anyhow. I do like this dvd, i am not very good at it but i strive to do better and it is fun. I would hate to have put it in and been able to do everything right the first time i like a challenge and this is. I have not had the dvd for very long but i have had fun learning and laughing while i make mistakes but also i feel the burn and my heart is racing when i am done.

Great Workout, Hard to follow...
This workout is a GREAT WORKOUT! I am a marathoner and wanted an off-day workout and I have finally found the one! The only problem with this movie is that it is sometimes hard to follow. I have no dance experience and so it has taken me several times to pick up on the steps. If you are curious, this link gives a good example of what is included. I like the paso doble the best!Plus, who doesnt want to look at those sexy dancers? That's what I strive to be!

Good Workout - Beginner to intermediate
I am starting to work out more to get back in shape. I have not worked with this video to long, but out of the videos I have, this is one of my favorites so far. I have a small space to work with since I am on the road a lot and since I sometimes cannot do everything, it is nice that I can still do most of the things in this video and still feel a good work out.

Very intense, but a little dancing background helps
I got these with the thought of doing them at home. I have a 2 and 4 yo and they will not give you the time or space to do them :) You need A LOT of room to get the full impact of these workouts. I found half stepping the moves where not benefitting me at all. These are advanced moves and are not easy like Denise Austin or any of THOSE workout videos. I am an ex high school cheerleader, so with that said , I can kind of pick up on the moves fairly well. But if you have NEVER danced, this is not an instructional.

Not for Kids' Eyes
I bought this so I could exercise with my kids dancing alongside me. A few of the moves were a little too "adult" for me to feel comfortable with my children joining me. I expected the clothing to be a little sparse on the dance instructors, but I also expected family-friendly moves. I still like the video, but I don't use it nearly as often as I had hoped since I have to wait until my children aren't home.

Dance Your Way to a Beautiful Body
A very well cued and simple to follow routine if you take it slow and do your best to really properly learn the routines. If you have no dance experience it will be harder, but it is a great workout and it really does work out crucial areas as well as teach you great dance moves. I am thrilled with it. Excellent value !!!

Challenging & Fun but Awkward
I love DWTS and am familiar with the various dance steps in this workout video but found it challenging on many levels both good and bad. Advanced dance steps are good since you don't want to be bored with your workout. The difficulty I ran into is the lack of space to do some of the moves in the vid. I am doing the workout in my home not a dance studio. The area I have to workout was sufficient for other titles in the DWTS workout videos but not this one. The Argentine tango with the chair prop was interesting but I had difficulty getting a chair that was functional (all mine are cushioned, which doesn't work) and once again the space required for the movements was difficult to find in my home.
