Don't be fooled by the Amazon best seller sticker or 5 star reviews. Most of these are for baking trays, only a handful on the fan. It's a con to get you to buy.Fan itself is cheap plastic, very poor quality. Reviews say it comes with a remote - it doesn't. Reviews also says makes room "significantly cooler". It doesn't. You'll get a nice breeze if you sit right in front of it. But same true of any fan. As for room, did nothing to cool a small bedroom despite being on for several hours, even after adding ice cubes, cold water and soaking the filter in cold water. Reviews say you can add ice packs to make it even colder - total rubbish. The water compartment at the top of the fan is big enough for one glass of water - no way an ice pack can get in that!Power cable is also very short so you'll have to power up separately and detach from power point or socket if you want to move it about as power cord won't stretch very far.All in all, very disappointed and returned it same day!

good product, a bit pricy but worth for money

It’s FINE at best. I’ve been using it to cool down a small single room and if the fan is directly beside you, yes, it’s cooling but I’ve not seen the room-cooling benefits I’ve read about in other reviews.It’s small and quiet but it’s not going to take you from a humid summer hell-hole to a blissful night’s sleep. Over-priced.

Its small and fairly simple to use, its great at a small desk and puts out a good amount of cool air. My only issues is the mist feature, while its a nice concept the loud hissing sound it makes while trying to pump out a small amount of mist is more annoying than anything else. Not sure if thats by design or a defect in the model I got but otherwise its a solid purchase.

After reading the good reviews I bought this for my step sons small box bedtoom to keep him cool these hot days. Did all the instructions, used ice cold water to fill the small water holder, soaked the inside before use, charged it for about two hours before. Initially it blew a small amount of cool air but after ten minutes it was a normal fan blowing nothing but circulated air. The charge lasted about 30 minutes on the battery so had to connect it to his laptop to power it more and we used it for a good 5-6 hours to test and was very disappointed to say the least. Overall for £50 this is not the quality I expected, It should be like a cheap £15 item so I quickly issued a return and refund ,dont waste your money or your time on this product.

Bought this to cool our bedroom during the current hot weather. Unfortunately no matter what I did (cold water, ice etc) it was no more 'cooling' than a normal fan. Compact and cute but a very expensive small fan basically. Has been returned for a refund

Given the recent hot weather, this AC unit has come in very handy. I can now actually sleep at night.I am actually quite surprised how effective this unit is, given its small size. It is definitely cooler than a normal fan - the air is actually cold !HOWEVER, I would reccommend following manufacturers instructions. 1. Soak water absorption curtain first and 2. fill up water tank with ICE COLD WATER. It must be ice cold. This will last a few hours but really helps me sleep in this heat. It probably wouldnt cool my whole bedroom so I just sit it on my bedside table and let it blow onto me.

This is the second time I’ve tried to write a review as the first was flagged as spam when it isn’t. I did purchase the item and this is a genuine review.This item is not an air conditioning unit and doesn’t cool a room down. It is at best a fan, but not a very good one as you can’t feel it unless you’re sat on top of it. This was even after following the instructions.Definitely not worth the price, save your money. I would return it but sadly threw away the box.
