Easy to use. Pain to clean
I used these with duck eggs in the microwave. The supplied instructions are only for the hob, so I pierced the yolks and took a punt on 80 seconds for two which was just about right.Despite rubbing the inside with butter the eggs still stuck slightly, this was rectified by pushing the poachers inside out, but still leaves a mess to clean. Overall a better solution than using a saucepan.

Is there any point
I thought when i got some of these that they would be excellent especially as I could buy a grabber claw to pick them back out with (bit more fun than burning my fingers). But to be honest they really are rubbish. Unless I had missed the point of how to use them, I dont think they cooked the eggs particularly well when comapred to just putting the egg into the pan and they seemed to collect water if you put a reasonable sized egg into them. They have since sat in the cupboard and collected dust. The only good thing about them is that you dont get the really horrible looking egg scud foaming on top of the water when you cook in them.If you want them please give me an email and ill post them to you for postage costs!!

Really good
Easy to use, spray a little frylight oil, stay afloat in pan of boiling water, put a lid over saucepan & perfect poached eggs in a few minutes, no fuss

Use every week
These are great and we use them every week. So much less messier. Takes a while to get used to them but I have found when almost fully poached just dunking them under the boiling water finishes off the top perfectly.

Does what it says . Must have a kid in the pan .
Perfect poached eggs every time . Rub in some oil crack in the egg and float in about 3cm of boiling water put a lid on the pan and let it cook 5 mins. Remove from pan and ease the egg out with a teaspoon.

Great poached eggs
Works well in keeping eggs together when poaching. They are made of soft silicone and are easy to clean as long as you remember to spray with a little oil first. They are larger than I was expecting so it can be tricky to fit two in a smaller pan

I washed them in warm water before using set oven at 180C and filled with batter mix the oven soon began to smell of burning rubber
