I haven’t used this yet, the walks we generally go on have doggy stations along the way. I bought it in case we go out on a trail or if we’re walking in the city. We have a big dog, so big poop, looks like a sufficient size for a long walk. I would not leave doggy poop in the city trash bins outside a business. I’d rather take it to a designated trash-bin or home where I have an out-of-the-way trash bin just for the dog. So yes, I believe it to be an important part of my dog gear and glad I have it. And, as others have stated, the little strap is very short. I believe it’s made to connect to a backpack or a belt. It just wouldn’t go around your waist on its own. I don’t personally find any problem, I guess how you plan to carry it is to be considered.

Good durable washable material because it's for dog poop mostly but one draw back if you don't have doggie poop bags do not throw poop in bag not lined to be used without dog poop bags

I bought this store my wagbags while overlanding, it's held up very well. Will get stinky easily, just flip inside out and let it sit.

I'm a dog walker and thought this would help my walks not be stinky when I'm in a spot with no trashcans. It's nice to have to carry the bags, and it attaches to my backpack strap versus having to carry them in my hands, and it can hold an awful lot of bags which is great considering I walk up to 8 dogs at a time. However, it does not contain the smell. It perhaps lightens it - again, better than carrying the bags in my hand, but not by much. I was thinking I could use this when i take my own dogs on long hikes, but it wouldn't make it a less stinky time like I hoped. Disappointing

The item I never knew I needed!! This bag is great to hold new bags in the outside pocket and also secure the used bags on the inside while keeping the smell at bay. Closes up easily and securely and then buckles into a nice handle. I like the material of the bag and its a cute purple color.

Holds smell in from afar... If you want to nit pick.. it doesn't completely seal the smell of poo. Keep in mind the inner plastic lining will break and make the product useless.. 6 months of use.. twice a week and this bag has failed. Waste of money.

This Best Nordic Designs Dog Poop Bag Holder is HUGE, which makes it great for large dogs or several smaller dogs, long walks/hikes, or long trips where poop disposal is not available. I could see this bag being used by Professional Dog Walkers when walking several dogs at once. I’m currently using an old cross body purse to store my dogs poop while on walks, and thought this might be the perfect replacement. Unfortunately, this bag is much too large for my 17 pound Beagle’s short daily walks.This bag is stylish looking and has a clear plastic heavy liner that must be meant to prevent against leaks and odor. The smaller outer pocket holds a roll of poop bags (pictured in my review but not included), and has a Velcro closure and slit for pulling the bags out individually. There is a short belt-like clip that is too short to be worn around the waist - possibly used to clip on belts or to clip the bag closed once it’s rolled over as per the instructions.I wish this bag came in a variety of sizes as I would love to have one in a smaller size, possibly with a waist band that clips like a fanny pack or even a shoulder/cross body strap. This bag seems well made, the material is sturdy, and the bag is practical regardless of its uses.

This is the roomiest dog poop bag that I've come across. There's plenty of space to store many of your furry friend's essentials when traveling or hiking....or for LOTS of poop, if you prefer! I, personally, pick up the poop with a bag, deposit the poop in a spot where it can naturally break down and serve as fertilizer, and then only dispose of the empty soiled bags. I love that I can contain everything my pup needs for a long road trip or hike. The front has a small poop bag holding section. It also has a small storage pocket that, unfortunately, can't be closed securely because there's no zipper or velcro. But the large compartment securely closes by rolling the top of the bag and then snapping the clips together. The large compartment contains a somewhat rigid plastic liner, that keeps odors in and moisture out. It also has a reflective stripe on the front of the bag, for nighttime visibility.
