Alter eco has been my favorite brand of chocolate for a long time. I love the values that they stand for, including sustainable farming and fair trade. And their chocolate is just dang delicious. The super dark truffles are my favorite.So I was really excited to try these raspberry cream dark chocolate truffle thin bars. And they absolutely met and exceeded my expectations. Beautiful creamy and flavorful dark chocolate, with a rich, smooth, raspberry filling. This won’t be one to share with the kids.If you’re looking for high quality chocolates look no further.Just be sure to bring them inside immediately upon delivery if it’s a warm day, as mine were not delivered with any kind of cooler.Currently the list price is about $52 with a 10% off coupon for a 12 pack, which makes these about $4 per 2.96 ounce bar. I think that price is reasonable considering the high quality and the knowledge of supporting fair wages and better farming practices.

This chocolate bar has an amazing raspberry flavor with a good hint of rich dark chocolate. I like it is good for the environment.

All most all of the bars had pieces crushed, had melted and reshaped into blobs and even had sections just completely missing. I'll be throwing all 12 of them away & I have no option for a refund!

These truffle thins are very good on their own merits, even if you're not into organic, regenerative agriculture and all that. These 3oz bars taste very good and are comparable to non-organic "premium" filled chocolate brands and varieties, like Lindt and Ghiradelli, who charge about the same price for a 4oz bar. The raspberry flavor complements the dark chocolate very well, and masks any bitterness that might be present eating "straight" dark chocolate.The packaging of the individual bars is high quality, like many other premium chocolate products, wrapped in thin foil and enclosed in a thin but sturdy cardboard wrapper.As the summer approaches, you must be careful about ordering chocolate in hot weather, and leaving it out at your doorstep or mailbox. Filled varieties like this seem especially susceptible to heat damage. I was very pleased that these bars arrived in the current cool spring weather completely intact, without any of the yummy raspberry creme leaking out at the edges.

These are too good. It will be hard to stop eating them. Swiss made, the dark chocolate is 60% cacao minimum, and the raspberry truffle layer is just the right amount of tart. They are worth the price.

the bars a yummy and sweet. Love the raspberry filling. i did have to put the box in the freezer they seem to be soft when opening. they are high in calories for one section of bar.
