I made my first car freshie with this mold. I had prepped the beads earlier and was waiting for a silicone mold I liked. While you can make car freshies with metal cookie cutters, I like the idea of using a silicone mode because I have no worries about having the mold in the oven since silicone can handle a wide range of temperatures from sub zero to 100's of degrees.I loaded the beads into the mold and baked it at 376 for 16 minutes (based on a YouTube video). This is much longer that the bake times for the videos I had seen for using metal cookie cutters as molds, but the results were perfect. With the silicone mold you not only get the shape of the mold, but the detail of the base. In this case a somewhat suggestive peach crack. Use your imagination as little or as much as you like. YouTube videos suggest you use paint to highlight the details after the bake is done.I filled the mold half way full which seemed too much but the level dropped to more like a quarter once the beads bonded. I did not have to put anything special on the backing pan since the mold contains the beads and they do not stick to the mold. Once the back was done, I let it cool and then it popped out without issue.A joy start to finish.

This peach mold is great for making car freshies. I found that the silicon material is quite durable and seems to be of high quality.The mold after making the freshie was easy to clean with plain soap and water although I did notice that it held an odor from the previous freshie but that did not seem to transfer over to the next freshie I made.The design of this mold is about perfect in size and shape. My freshies popped right out of this mold with no breakage or warping.The mold is incredibly easy to use and straightforward. Simply add your prepared scent beads into the mold and bake at 350° f for 15 minutes. I usually turn my pan halfway through the baking process. I cool all of my freshies in a refrigerator and once they're cool I pop them from the molds immediately.Another advantage of this mold is because it's silicone it makes it quite versatile. You can also use it with other materials such as epoxy resin, wax, and probably soap also.Overall, I think this is a great mold for anybody that is a versatile crafter and looking for a piece that can be used with many different mediums.

A silicone mold is a silicone mold. If they do what they're supposed to, they hold the soap batter or "freshie beads" or clay or anything else, and it releases easily. What takes this freshie mold to the top of the heap is the heart. Because of the heart, the finished product has a heart shaped hole, which means you don't have to fiddle around with a nail or anything else to make a hanging hold. So you can pour in your fragranced aroma beads, bake it, and pop it out and it's all ready to go. If you make soap, especially melt and pour, if you pop out your soap you can then put a little bit of contrasting color in the heart space instead of fooling with embeds.

This cheeky little silicone mold is absolutely adorable and something I didn't even realize I needed in my life!! It is almost the perfect size to use as a coaster even, so if you do a thinner pour it could be really fun as a coaster set - or thicker pours for something like wall art or paper weights.The silicone is well made, with a good amount of flexibility while still being incredibly sturdy. I am excited to try this out for a new project, and already have the perfect person in mind to make it for.

Bigger than I expected. Love the pattern. It was inside out when received, but easy to flop back. Will be using as a soap mold but because of the size, I may try to make candles with it.
