These are awesome!I bought the set for my parents lake house. My dad was very skeptical. However, we all love them! We will be ordering another set!They are light weight but very durable! Dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe! I love the high sides, like a bowl but a plate! Perfect for so many meals!

Purchased the green, and the color is pretty accurate to the photos (if you're picky about colors).I love these plates for several reasons. The basics: they're food safe, freezer safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe. Beyond that, they have a smooth, slightly matte surface which makes them sort of "nonstick" for things like melting cheese in the microwave. I have advancing disabilities, so I really like that they're lightweight and sturdy. My hands don't work as well as they used to, and these plates have a deep, sloping lip to help the food onto my utensils or dips onto my chips.If you're trying to wean your family off single-use paper, give these a try. There's so much about them to like. Note: If you eat a lot of spiced food, tomato-based sauces, melted cheeses: I recommend getting the plates in yellow/orange/red or darker hues. The lighter colors may show slight staining after several weeks of use.Lastly, I like that these are compostable. They hold up really well but if I ever have to toss one out, I won't feel horrible about permanent plastic pollution.

I bought a pack of these and snuck them into my mom's house because her other plastic plates were disintegrating so bad from long term use that my parents had basically switched to paper plates and left the old plastic ones in the cupboard. These new plates checked all my mom's boxes. They are lightweight, microwaveable, and dishwasher safe after multiple uses. Having a taller lip on the edges of the plates was just a bonus. They even came in her favorite color blue. We haven't tried cutting anything on them yet though, we usually use a cutting board. I am so glad I found these great plates.

I had ordered a set of six wheat straw plates (from another brand) years ago and I loved them. I was looking for deep plates for pasta and salad and they were the perfect size. I hadn't known about wheat straw at the time and found it to be a plus. They're heavy duty, microwavable (unlike melamine) and unbreakable. However, six was just not enough.When I tried to reorder the same set, they were unavailable. Having become a big fan of wheat straw as a material, I searched for ones that I thought would be the same. I ended up with a different brand and ultimately returned them because they were just slightly smaller than the ones I already had.At the same time, I ordered a set of wheat straw bowls from Wrova and loved them. So, after returning the smaller ones, I decided to try Wrova again. I am so glad I did. They are perfect; nearly indistinguishable from my first set. Perfect size, perfect material and perfect amount. Now I don't run out of dishes before having to run the dishwasher. I highly recommend.

These plates are light and have a higher edge "wall" or "lip" and it's great as you can use the plates for a variety of food. For me they were just some good sized plates but Everytime a guest uses them they comment on how much they like them, so it's made me like them more:) I only wish I could just buy one colour and not a pack of shades of grey and black.
