BuzbugBug Zapper Electronic Insect Killer, Upgraded UV-LED Light, Electronic Mosquito Killer for Insects, Fly Trap Up to 2100 Sq Ft, High-Powered Device for Indoor and Outdoor Use

I moved to a new home and needed some bug zappers. I ordered a larger Black and Decker which died shortly afterwards and its replacement needed repair too. The Buzbug unit however has exceeded my expectations in terms of general quality for the price and effectiveness. The LEDs work quite well to attract the bugs, the layout of the cage allows bugs in without much effort, and the power of the shock is such that even larger bugs are taken care of (sometimes such that they pop off the device all together keeping it cleaner than other devices.) The only bad part of the device has been the welds/soldering of the cage. One came off without only minor handling. However, while less safe is nicer in that larger bugs were more easily able to fit through. Cleaning it is a pain as with most zappers but I found a light spray from a water hose does the job.

I'm very pleased with my purchase. This is a nice size, and is very sturdy and well made. I like the fact that it uses the led lights rather than the old tubes. It will be easier on the electric bill and last alot longer. First night I got it I left it on all night. Came out in the morning and it was like an insect massacre. I have woods behind my house so I get lots of flying pests. This item is now helping me with this problem. For under $20 this is a great product.

A friend has this style of bug zapper so when I needed a second one for my home, I decided to get this one. (The other I have is wall-mounted.) This is a great size and easy to find a place in my small space to put it. It does the job!

This attracts and kills the bugs as well as the expensive ones with fluorescent tubes, and it seems to last much longer. My only complaint is that it is hard to clean. Since I use it outside, I removed and discarded the catch tray from the bottom, then I made two holes in the bottom of the plastic cage. I got a long brush meant for cleaning lint from a clothes dryer and stuck it up through the holes to clean out the bugs. Problem solved.

It only attracts mosquitos and moths. It won't kill them all but it sure helps. It makes a fairly loud pop/snap sound when it zaps a bug. And it uses less watts than the old fluorescent zappers.

Great zapper for the small annoying gnat things flying around this time of year. For the people that don't think it is working I can assure it is. Take a couple od sheets of white paper and lay underneath it and check them. The little flies are getting zapped but not landing in bottom but going all around. Not dropping dazed as some people have claimed but very dead. So do expect that but I'm thankful they are not around my face and in my mouth. I did drop one star because it is a little top heavy with the small base. I would still recomment to others.

Se ve bueno y eficaz aunque aún no vi ningún mosquito en la bandeja pero tampoco en la habitación. Ya dejaré más reseñas a la próxima invasión de mosquitos.

I am thoroughly impressed with this Zapper. It is noticably more effective at attracting and killing flying insects compared to any similar products I have used. I am pleased that it uses an UV LED lamp requiring less maintenance and making it more energy efficient and than products with replaceable fluorescent UV lamp. Works great outdoors in my backyard near mosquito infested wetlands.

Lampe efficace, reçue depuis peu. Ça me dérange pas mais certains peuvent l être, le bruit lorsqu'un insecte s'y frotte n'est pas à négliger. Peut-être vigilance avec des enfants. Tout dépend si elle est suspendue, de son emplacement. Tout mon entourage l'achète après démonstration chez moi. Vendeur top

quando cattura emette un "botto" che da soddisfazione !! un po di fficile da pulire e il meccanismo sembra troppo fragile ma... molto efficace. meglio usarla all'esterno

Ich hatte ein enormes Fliegen/Mückenproblem in einem meiner vielen Räume. Vieles ausprobiert, aber es wurde nicht komplett beseitigt. In Ergänzung mit der Lampe habe ich das Problem in den Griff bekommen. Die Lampe funktioniert einwandfrei und nicht wie andere wo nur das Licht blau ist. Hier denkt man wenn die Lampe an ist, man ist in der Disko. Alles was Weiss oder Neonfarbe ist leuchtet, fehlt nurdie Musik....Ich kann die Lampe definitiv uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

This device replaced an old insect killer of similar design. Two things immediately struck my eyes. And ears.1) This lamp attracts and kills far more insects. I wish I had a small pond with fish to hang it over it, remove the lower lid and feed the fish. 😎2) Bugs go away with a loud "bang". It got me scared a first few times, but it's highly satisfying now. That's some real "bang for bucks". 😁😈
