Small, quiet, portable, and reasonably effective
We bought this for our sunroom and RV. We’ve had one RV trip and 3 weeks of sunroom use. We end up with fruit fly type insects in sunroom and this does a quiet and discreet job of killing then all. In the RV it was great to kill any mosquitos and flying insects that would otherwise drive us mad. This replaces a larger rectangular unit that would scare us every time a bug met it’s demise but that other unit ended up failing after a month filling the house with an acrid smell and smoke.Pros: extremely quiet both when idle and when it kills. Works off usb power block, great for tents etc. nice soft colored purple glow that doubles as a night light. Doesn’t catch fire. Works great without using the bait.Cons: none found yet.

good size and safe for kid
It is a small size, low noise, easy to maintain, and energy efficient.I plug it in my USB port (low current), it works immediately. The plastic bars surrounds the internal electrical pole is tight and you cannot put your finger in--kids safe. The light is pretty attractive to bugs. Right after I power on, there was flying bug landing on it.The bottom container can be easily rotate off and allow you clean it. You can put more lure around the neck to attract insects. No doubt it will reduce mosquitoes and flys in the room. One improvement it can do is to not let the bugs fly directly facing down, since it can bypass the electric pole.Overall, good quality and low maintenance bug trap.

Mighty little bug zapper
We tried many different types of bug zappers- and none of them worked like this one. If you have flies or mosquitos in your house this is the bug zapper to buy!! We somehow got about 12 flies in the house from frequently opening the door. Too speedy to catch with a fly swatter and so many bug zappers didn’t work. Until I found this one! That first night it caught about 5 of them. Took a few days for it to get them all. The unit has two settings - on and on with a fan. It emits a purple light. Thise first few days we kept the fan on since I was desperate to get rid of those flies! Now I just keep it plugged in and on all the time (without the fan). And I love it when I hear it ZAP a bug! This zapper definitely works best at night - although it has caught a few during the day. Can’t speak to its long term life- but this little zapper is worth every penny!!!

I just bought this and now it does not work …
It is indicating it has power with the red light … no blue light or second stage with fan and light. Was not that effective and a Waste of money.

This has LITERALLY kept my kitchen fruit fly-free!
About two months ago, I started noticing that we had a bunch of fruit flies in our kitchen, but we didn't have any fruit in there, and I couldn't figure out where they were coming from! I keep a very clean kitchen, they weren't in the trash can, I clean the drains regularly, the windows have been closed (b/c it's so hot out right now), and I was just at a loss. So I tried all of these home remedies like apple cider vinegar or soapy water, and nothing was doing the trick, and I was incredibly frustrated, so I was at my wits end when I gave this bug zapper a shot. I'd never heard of an indoor bug zapper, but I was willing to give it a try, especially with a 30-day return period. WITHIN 24 HOURS, THERE WAS A NOTICIBLE DIFFERENCE! I couldn't believe it, seriously! They were zapping themselves left-and-right, and I'm turning it off every few days to brush them out of the wire and clean out the bottom trap. No, I still haven't figured out where they're coming from, but for now, I'm ok, because this bug zapper has saved my sanity - I even bought a second one to keep on-hand as a "just in-case" because there is no way I could even wait if something happened to it! I LOVE THIS! Please get yourself one! If I could give this 10 stars, I would do it!

Does not work effectively in the daytime
This is a really good item and works well at night. Does not work well in the light.

Very Nice Looking. Works like a Charm!
I like the look of it, very clean and fits in nicely with the decor, doesn't look like a "bug zapper", much more professional. Works great too, got my first mosquito zap within 10 minutes of setting it up. I'm excited to use it at night to get the ones that bite my husband at night! The low light will work nicely as a night light too! However, I decided to use it in the entry to my room, not in the bedroom at night, I sleep light and I'm so happy when it zaps that I wake up!Within 3 days, I've caught over 20+ mosquitoes and more knats than I can count, the funny thing is every time it zaps,; I feel very accomplished!!! One less bite and buzzing bug! Go Zapper!

Doesn’t really work
Haven’t seen a single fly, mosquito or fruit fly around it or in the bottom basket. My other simple zapper has the dead ones all around - so this is simply not attracting or killing anything no matter which setting. Works great as a night light though

Funciona muy bien. Muy feliz con mi compra, mata a todos los mosquitos que llegarán a entrar a mi habitación. Super recomendado.

No sirve
Si quieres ver cómo se ríen los mosquitos del producto cómpralo. Honestamente fue de las peores compras, me picaron al menos 3 veces mientras escribía mi devolución.
