Protect And Preserve
If you've priced baseball gloves recently you know they aren't cheap by any means, so protecting them is key. If you've got an old glove that you've had for several years, one that is all broken in and fits your hand and is easy to manipulate, you want to preserve that, and Rhino Wax Baseball Glove Conditioner is a great way to do that.Starting with earth friendly, renewable, all natural ingredients, this product is easy to apply, easy to work into the leather and really gets deep into the leather to make the entire glove softer and easier to open or close around a ball hit or thrown to you.Easy to apply with the applicator tube and once you have distributed the wax around the glove surfaces, (I recommend doing small areas instead of the entire glove at once) you simply take an old cloth and really get into the palm and the pocket, to remove that new stiffness. Application to the outside surface will preserve and protect your new purchase. Be sure to really work it into the area that hinges, the base of the palm, the crease where the thumb forces the glove to close around a baseball. Use the rag to get into those areas that contact the baseball, working the wax into the leather before allowing plenty of time to absorb.Once you are satisfied that all areas of the glove have been covered, place a baseball into the webbing of the glove (not the pocket) and secure the glove closed with string and allow to sit overnight. A second application will really get your new glove where you want it and your old glove more protected.Rhino Wax has a wealth of experience in leather care, extending far beyond baseball glove. Their products will protect leather goods of all sorts.Great stuff. Great price. All natural ingredients with ZERO chemicals. Hand made with sustainable ingredients. Plant based packaging. A portion of the sale goes to the World Wildlife Fund. Preserves and protects.

All Natural Protectant
I've used this in conjunction with their glove oil and find the combination to work well. We're in a low humidity area and this helps to keep the glove from drying out. Easy to apply and made in the USA.

Great Baseball Glove Conditioning Wax
This Rhino Wax baseball glove conditioner comes in a tube kind of like a glue stick or a push pop, rather than the typical tube of toothpaste style conditioners. As a result, the conditioning wax is more firm. This made it a little trickier to apply to the baseball glove. After wiping off the excess dirt with a slightly damp towel, I went to work on a Rawlings Heart of the Hide and a 44 Pro ball glove that needed a good conditioning ahead of this upcoming season. I just used the stick directly onto the 44 on the inside of the palm and fingers and rubbed the rhino wax in with a microfiber towel. The results were fantastic on the black leather of each glove, leaving them soft and shiny. What's great about Rhino Wax is that by being a solid and not a liquid conditioner, you are a lot less likely to accidentally over do it with the conditioner and use too much and weigh down your glove. For lighter leather, this may darken it up a bit, but that is normal of just about every conditioner I've used and just mentioning that here. For those light tan, camel leather colored gloves I recommend not conditioning them until they truly need it and are already dirty, unless you want a more broken in look. One thing I think could be improved though, is the tube that the wax comes in could be a little more robust, and may wear down with time, but I don't expect it to be an issue. I'm also pleased to report there's not much of an odor that comes with this conditioner. I'd rather have a faint smell than a strong one, so good job Rhino Wax. Looking forward to trying out their other products for baseball glove care.

Goes on easier than it appears; slightly slicker than lanolin based products
I’ve been using/treating baseball gloves for a long time. While everyone has their own favorites, I’ve settled on saddle soap for deep cleaning, followed by either a lanolin based product or Nokona Classic (which may be lanolin, but doesn’t list the ingredients). I prefer these over oils which weight the glove down and are too slick. This “Rhino Wax - Baseball Glove Conditioner” is a little different both in terms of ingredients and application. Instead of lanolin, it uses castor oil, shea butter, and beeswax. Beeswax the longstanding way of waterproofing before artificial water proofers. Instead of a cream or oil, this one is a semi-solid in a push up dispenser, similar to deodorant. When I opened it I thought it would go on rather hard like a solid, but it is quite flexible, sort of like a firm stick of butter, so it goes where you want it and is actually quite easy to apply. I’d suggest an old toothbrush to work it into/under laces and in between fingers, and an old piece of flannel to rub it in/work off excess. It’s rather slick when it is first applied and a little slippery, which I didn’t like, but after it soaks in/dries it is better. It does darken the leather some, which might or might not be an issue for you. It’s too early to comment on how long the treatment will last compared to other products (I’ll update the review if it doesn’t hold up well) but so far, so good.
