Our pup loves these stairs
Our 100+ pup wouldn’t use the ramp to get up into our suv so I got these steps, be sure to hook them up properly and they will be very sturdy. Easy to up up and down, easy to fold, they are not that heavy and work very well.

VERY good product!!
I got this for my 90# dog who's having a second ACL surgery (in his other rear leg) next week. I had him with me when I unboxed it and put it up to the car. I told him, "UPstairs," and at very first he was a little hesitant but then up he went! Then I said, "DOWNstairs," and he went down without a hitch!I agonized over which stairs to buy and finally settled on this one even though it was a little more expensive. It's very sturdy and sets up well even on uneven ground. I have an older CR-V. The steps are low and there's a lot of step-surface area. I'm also pretty sure this will help him get up on the bed but I haven't tried that yet.I would buy again in a heartbeat!

Senior dog liked thiese
My pup is 12 now with hip issues. He can lo longer get into the back set of my suc or the rear . Tried other stairs and ramp and he was hesitant. With these, he took his time and worked great. I think it is the mesh on the side gave him confidence. It sure isn’t strong enough to catch him . This is a keeper.

Easy to use
It took a couple of weeks before my large dog felt comfortable using the stairs. Now he races out the door and runs directly up the stairs, without any assistance, into the back of the SUV. So glad that we ordered the steps covered with artificial turf opposed to those with the black covering. I think it is easier for the dog visually for depth perception, the green doesn't blend in with the asphalt or dirt. Worth the money, definitely saves on the back instead of lifting our 70# dog whom refuses to jump. Folds up easily using the strap & stores very compactly upright tethered to hooks on the side of SUV.

Works even for cautious dogs
Our dog is not the bravest and will shy away from anything that looks ominous. I put these stairs on the back of our SUV and he went up on first try (with a treat). I believe the fake grass makes a big difference as it gives them a good grip. Much better than a ramp of which we tried several. Sturdy and heavy, well made. I like that you can pull it out to different lengths and make it less steep.

It just takes a little training
I have a large (100 lbs) old (12 yrs) grand dog. I drive an SUV. He is no longer able to get in/out of my vehicle.I initially setup the stairs (easy) with the side nets. It took some treats and coaxing, but he got the hang of it pretty quickly. Unfortunately, with the side nets in place, the usable tread depth was not sufficient. He got his feet caught on the treads when trying to climb them.Without the side nets, I was able to extend the stairs more, increasing the usable tread depth. That had the added advantage of decreasing the rise, which also made it easier and more comfortable to use.As long as he doesn’t take the stairs too fast, he hasn’t needed the side net. This was a useful purchase and he can now safely get in/out of my car.

My German Shepherd likes them!
Poor Mandy. She’s a German Shepherd getting up there in years, and she can no longer hop into the rear of my vehicle without assistance. I drive a crossover, that is, a small SUV-ish kind of thing. I’m getting up there in years, too, and my back wasn’t so sure it wanted me to keep lifting a heavy doggy. So I ordered the extra-wide dog stairs.Mandy was afraid of them at first. It took about a week of dragging her up the stairs by the collar before she got the concept. Now she likes them. She waits patiently at the back of the car for me to unfold them (which is easy to do, by the way) so she can climb happily aboard. I appreciate the artificial turf. I doubt it fools her, but it helps her not to slip.Of course, my other German Shepherd, a one-year-old, enjoys showing Mandy up by vaulting over the stairs directly into the car. Kids these days.I highly recommend the folding stairs.

Perfect for dogs that don’t like to be picked up or are older
Easy to set up and take down. Kind of bulky but not terrible. Love the safety rails for when my dog gets older. Another drawback is, once opened, you need clearance so you can’t have a tight fit next to other cars. However, I’m happy with it
