I bought this net to keep my cat out of the baby bassinet. She started taking over thinking I bought this bassinet just for her! 😂It fits right on top of the bassinet perfectly with little hooks in the middle to keep it in place. I love that there’s two zippers so I can open any way on the top for easy access. I have not used this for baby yet, but for keeping my cat out it has worked wonders! She jumped ontop of it one time not knowing it was there and she hasn’t tried since.The netting material is very thin so it does push down easy, but I personally love that because it’s airy and non restricting. I would def recommend this if you have animals curious about baby’s bed. I ordered the larger size and it fits perfectly!

Bought this because we didn’t want our cats to smother the child. It works great as a deterrent, but also requires some supervision and cat training -they definitely could smoosh the netting if they wanted, but we scold them every time they look like they want to hop on it, and that has worked wonders. Put this on the first day baby was home with us, we’ve been home for nearly 2 weeks now and no issues with the cats. They do try to get in it when we leave it unzipped, so we continue working to train the cats and ourselves to remember to zip it shut!

it fit perfectly over my daughters bassinet. however the clips on the sides were really cheap, they broke so easily and there aren't any replacements... but overall it does what it needs..

I know it seems slightly expensive for mesh, but this thing works miracles and is SO worth the money. I LOVE how safe it keeps my baby. It is easy to see through, completely covers our bassinet (we have a Halo Bassinest Glide), and has no gaps for even tiny bugs to get through. It has flexible supports that hold its shape and don’t allow for sagging, and it was super easy to put on—literally just stretch the elastic over the edges of your bassinet, and you’re done! The zipper is fabulous, because it pulls super easily, and it’s quiet enough to not disturb a sleeping baby. A tip though—don’t pull the zipper all the way down to the side, leave a few teeth together. Otherwise it can be a bit hard to get it the zipper started again (especially one handed, i.e. when you’re holding a baby!).Now for the real reason I bought it—we have three very nosy cats, and this keeps them OUT. It is very flexible and wouldn’t hold if a cat decided to jump on top of it, but I don’t think that they would try to, as it’s very obviously not sturdy enough to hold them. None of mine have risked it, and if they did I think they’d bail and never try again. Highly recommend!

This broke on the first day. Zipper is crud. I would definitely go for something else because it's just not good quality. Bummer because it's a great idea.

The reviews on this were for a completely different product. The one I got is a convertible crib mosquito net/cover. We had gotten this to keep the baby from climbing out of his crib. It was made for a mosquito/bug cover.Pros:1. It fits the crib perfectly.2. It has a double zipper so it can be opened easily.Cons:1. the net is flimsy and feels like it could tear easily2. The zipper comes apart too easily. The first night we used it, the baby unzipped it and was laying on top of it like a hammock3. It ties to the legs, and the ties come off too easy. We had to zip tie it to the legs4. We had to zip tie one zipper to a bar on the bed, then use a small carebeaner to hold the zippers together, to keep the baby from unzipping it and climbing out.Ultimately after making a few mods, it works for us.

This is an excellent bassinet cover. I believe this is compatible with almost all bassinets - it worked well for my Halo bassinet as well as my Chicco LullaGo.For background context, I originally purchased this bassinet cover because my pediatrician warned me the pet cat might try to hop into the bassinet and it could be a hazard for my newborn. As others have mentioned, this net cover is soft - so the cat wouldn't exactly bounce off or anything like that. Having said that, the bassinet cover serves as "hostile architecture" if you will and has successfully discouraged the cat from going into the bassinet - the cat definitely doesn't want to hop into in and get tangled in the netting. The cat has never tried to hop into the bassinet while the netting is on and only attempted once when I had removed the netting cover and was changing the sheets.An unexpected benefit is we brought our portable bassinet outside a few times while we were grilling in the backyard and this bassinet net cover absolutely protected our baby from mosquitos and other bugs. This is great if you want to create a safe space for your baby to nap with you while you're outside in the yard. Highly recommend!!!

With my first child I constantly had the problem of my one cat trying to get into the bassinet, regardless if my baby was in it or not. With two cats that we love that hate each other unfortunately at night it’s not optional having the one and the same room.With this product I found with my second baby arriving I grabbed it in hopes it would keep the cat out, and boy did it ever! I love the flexibility of the size, with the hooks on the side to keep it in place and prevent slippage. It is big enough to intimidate the cat, and the zipper is quiet enough not to wake the baby.Great product that I wish I had found sooner. Don’t know about mosquitoes, but otherwise, great product, reasonable price, and good quality.

I got this playpen for my 3 pound dog. She will not go any bigger and to protect her from the labs when I go out or if I need to do something she’s in there safe and she cannot jump out. I say whoever created this idea is a genius thank you. God bless you.

Wire come through hoop on the first day it was up, zipper came off completely within a week, it would be an excellent product if those issues were resolved

Bought a Canopy one at first and it was a nightmare to take down and pack so we got this instead . It’s so fast and easy and does the trick to deter the cats from jumping into the crib :)
