This monitor is a blast. There is one thing that may make you howl in rage after you turn it on for the first time. Top of the screen will be much brighter. Take your towel and DON'T PANIC. This is by design. Now, take a remote for your screen (I know you left it in the box) and open the settings menu on the monitor then.Press Monitor button on the remoteRun Image CleaningRun Pixel CleaningIt will take some time but it will fix the issue.

The extra level of emersion that this beast of a monitor brings to my setup is incredible. The colours pop, very vibrant and the 240Hz also brings that smoothness you need in those higher paced games.

The screen is bright enough for most applications, but I personally wanted a dim OLED experience and this delivered excellently, why 4 stars? Because of the Pixel Per Inch (PPI) which is also important for me as I do office work, and it's not great for this purpose - where is shines is in movies and gaming. HDR is superb, the curve is hardly noticeable after a week and the size of the screen is truly perfect for complete immersion.Watch this item, it could drop to as low as £1000 or under in winter...

There is many different factors, but after a loong reaserches, i went with this one and i love it every time i start a game. The wooow efect with the hdr content. Anti burning features. Many screen modes and options. Im ok with brightness as i only use it with half/dark room. But for people who prefer much more light, remember - its beautifull OLED to enjoy in darker scenarious. But still will do the job, no worries. Staying with this one for years if it wont fail. Must have for gamers!

This was delivered Friday 22nd Oct 2023.It had a 1cm circular shadow on the left hand side of the screen which was worrying. When I used the clean image within the menu of the monitor, it cleared itself completely. I am still running a Intel i7-4790K CPU 4.00 GHz (Not overlocked) with 16gig Corsair 2400hz Vengeance Pro memory and a Asus TUF RTX3070TI and this monitor is absolutely mind boggling. I run modern games in Ultra setting at full 3440x1440 and it is so immersive. Genuinely recommended. The LG UltraGear 45GR95QE - 45 Inch has a big thumbs up from me.

I tried a few big screen monitors trying to find the perfect one and I was struggling.My main monitor was a Gigabyte M32Q IPS which has been great for a couple years but I wanted something bigger and with better performance in darker games.I tried a Philips Evnia OLED 34” which was horrible, and a couple of 40” IPS which weren’t bad but were basically the same as my 32” but just a bit bigger.Then I found this, and immediately I knew this was the one!First of all, it’s big, but it’s not actually as big as you might think. It takes up most of my desk, but the curve somehow softens the overall size and makes it perfect for immersion.The quality in dark games is amazing, I used to spend hours tweaking my IPS brightness and in game brightness trying to get it right and never really getting anywhere. With this I don’t really have to do anything, it was easy to set up and now I pretty much just leave it as is and dark games are just so much more detailed.HDR is actually decent, I leave it on most of the time, but if it doesn’t suit the game I just turn it off.For office use it’s good due to the size but as people have mentioned the PPI is a bit low and noticeable at first, but you get used to it and I don’t notice anymore.Couple of downsides, no built in KVM, so had to buy a KVM switch separately which means more cables. Also the USB ports don’t output any power so you can’t charge a phone or anything with them, this seems to be typical of LG Ultragear.The other issue which others seem to have mentioned is flickering, I seem to have narrowed down the issue to OLED screens when using Freesync and a variable refresh rate.If your rate is fixed it won’t flicker, but if you have a wide FPS range for example 60-165 then it will flash noticeably when you touch the mouse or keyboard.Mainly an issue when using Radeon Chill, which sets quite a wide range, but just narrow the range until it doesn’t flicker and you will be fine.Also the regular image cleaning reminders can get a bit annoying.Otherwise this is an excellent monitor that did everything I wanted it to do and more.For gaming I don’t think much else compares.If you can find it for less than £1000 then go for it you won’t be disappointed.

I was absolutely impressed with the LG UltraGear 45GR95QE when I first got it.The OLED panel is stunning, with deep blacks, vibrant colors, and an ultra-smooth 240Hz refresh rate.For gaming and productivity, it's truly one of the best monitors I’ve used.However, after just a few months of normal use (5-6), the monitor developed severe screen burn-in overnight.I never left static images on for extended periods, always ran the pixel cleaning cycle, and kept the brightness at reasonable levels.Yet, one morning, I turned it on and immediately noticed a large burned-in area, clearly visible on gray backgrounds.This was incredibly disappointing, especially considering the price of this monitor.Thankfully, Amazon handled the return smoothly, but I expected much better durability from a premium OLED display.If LG improves burn-in resistance or extends their burn-in warranty, this would be a 5-star product.As it stands, I can only give it 3 stars because while it delivers an amazing experience,its longevity is highly questionable.
