They are very comfortable, but could be a little higher up the ankle. They fit my ankle but wouldn't fit anyone with a larger ankle.

The detailed description (not the one immediately by the product) as you scroll down to the product range information, states that these shoes keep your feet "warm and dry". They don't do this! Water seeps in quite quickly.It is perhaps partly my lack of knowledge and expectation about this type of shoe before buying them, although clearly it is an incorrect description (and should be removed.)These are perfectly good water shoes (that let water in and out!), although probably not for more extreme conditions.

I like to swim in rivers that have craggy rocks and slabs so these are essential. I am no spring chicken so my ankles are not particularly attractive - they are nicely hidden with these!
