entertaining
A delightful reminder of simpler times - all those years ago when much of the World hadn't been explored; by Europeans at least.

I thought the stories were great. I am finishing the last one
I thought the stories were great. I am finishing the last one. I read the Robinson Crusoe story and the 2nd Robinson Crusoe Book that I didn't know existed before I downloaded it. They were good but I liked the Rip Van Winkle of the Kalahari better.

A Rip van Winkel of the Kalahari
This book is worth reading. It breaks new ground in so far as fiction relating to Southern Africa is concerned. The stories are spell binding and gripping and a delightful change from the usual suspense stories.

Another Rip Van Winkle tale
Obviously it is another tale of similar design as the Rip Van Winkle story best known, but definitely different and written for a different purpose.
