I have been using this computer semi-regularly for more than 3 months now and I'm very pleased with it.Pros:- Superb start-up time, just amazing. Waking up the computer from sleep mode and rebooting it after a complete shut down takes about the same time.- I'm using it as a design computer, and the main Adobe design programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) work with ease. Had no complaints.- Power adaptor is significantly lighter than some other ones I've seen, which is a plus for mobility.Cons:- The material is a fingerprint magnet, it gets covered in fingerprints in no time. If that kind of thing is a deal breaker for you, stay away.- I've had 3 or 4 "blue screen of deaths" out of nowhere. Once, it happened twice in one day. I really wasn't pushing the computer when these happened, and it's not something you want to see in your new computer. But I don't think there's a major issue here.- It has an odd shape. I've had a hard time finding a good 15.6 inch laptop sleeve that it fits in. The corners really stick out and the it barely fit in the original sleeve I bought (which didn't provide much protection because of that). I ended up buying a sleeve for a bigger computer, which isn't a good fit, but at least now the corners have enough padding.After all these cons I still feel like it deserves a 5 star rather than 4. The performance is great and it sails through large design files.

Since this laptop was purchased I've had major issues with bluescreens, tried everything from formatting windows, installing another OS, drivers and even returned it to ASUS for analysis.Asus never found the issue and im stuck with this laptop now. The bluescreens happens sometimes while gaming, but they are more consistent when working with 3D modelling and video editing.

Perfect. What a cracking deal - worth every penny. Haven't had any issues. The only thing to note however, is that there is no dvd drive. But I hear that's only for old timers like me. It's light, good battery life. As a fan of ASUS this certainly didn't disappoint. Can't believe I went through life without a back-lit keyboard!

I brought this laptop for video editing and wish I hadn't. I had to carry out a full system install around 3 weeks after delivery as it wouldn't boot up at all. In the time I owned this laptop I had nothing but problems with it and will never buy another Asus if this is anything to go by.

Good spec for the price. Arrived quickly. Performs very well as expected.

Excellent

The laptop was fine when it arrived, but after a while using it, i noticed that the fan, which is placed at the back very unfortunately, so when you open the laptop the top part covers the fan. The laptop then gets very loud and very hot, the games are crashing. So i wrote to the seller. They replied in one single sentense, no name, nothing "Hello, as per the policy, returns cannot be accepted for this item. Many thanks" that was it. Then the case was closed within 1 minute. I will of course file a claim and complaint and whatever else is necessary and would like to warn others just to be careful with this seller and the product
