These brushes are nice, but the bristles honestly seem a bit cheap. They are advertised as soft haired brushes but they are not really soft at all, more of a tough bristle. You will not get a smooth finish with them as shown on my picture attached.

I ordered these because I have three rooms I want to paint and these trim brushes look perfect for painting inside corners. One of the rooms has tight angles in the closet and the last time I painted it years ago, I struggled to find a brush that would get into those corners. These have long bristles and are a much better shape to reach in those narrow spots. There are some bristles that I had to pluck out because they sprang out but only a few. The handles are all plastic, even the ferrule. The plastic does have a very fine texture which makes it easier to hold. The three largest brushes have a hole for a hanging cord; two of mine included the cord but my largest brush did not.

These brushes have plastic handles. I would have appreciated wood handles instead but they still work well for multiple projects. The bristles are soft and not too stiff. For the price these brushes are good to have on hand. They’re not a higher end brush set, but they are handy to have.

Honestly, these brushes were so inexpensive that I wasn't expecting them to be very good. I figured that I would use them for things where I ran the risk of ruining brushes, such as using stuff where you can't rinse them out well, or when someone is helping you that doesn't take care of things. So imagine my surprise when I got these, and found them to actually be nice brushes! Are they as good as a set of brushes that costs five times as much? Of course not. But there are quite a few brushes that are twice as expensive and are not as good.To start with, they are designed for painting trim, awkward corners, etc, AND for spackle, various kinds of paint, etc. So they are just really handy. When they arrived, I gently pulled on the brush hairs to remove any loose hairs. A very few came out, which is to be expected. But, I didn't have any trouble with loose hairs coming out later, stuck in my paint. The handles are easy to grip, especially noticeable if you have carpal tunnel syndrome or arthritis.Just a nice set of brushes, and WELL worth the $9.99!

Never used a round brush for painting but definitely work good. Round design seems to make the paint spread evenly something that is hard to do with typical flat brush. Little harder to clean and takes more effort. But the results are excellent with very smooth brush strokes.

Low-end hobbyist brushes. Good price for the set.

I recently began painting in the last several months and since then, I've been trying to experiment with different brushes. I mainly use acrylic paint only. These brushes are really fantastic in my opinion. The handles are comfortable for you to hold for a while and don't allow the brush to slip out of your hands, which is good. The brush part is very durable given what they are made of and soaking in some warm water with a bit of Dawn detergent really gets them nice and clean. I have had a tiny bit of staining when it comes to really dark colors like black, but it's not enough to change my opinion of them. Let's face it, it's kind of hard pressed to find brushes that don't do that with black paint. Unless you use turpentine, which I don't have at the moment. I'm sure if I did, these would clean up perfectly though.All in all, I think this is a terrific set of brushes that can be used for any kind of painting, rather that be with acrylics doing art or even just painting walls of a house.Speaking of painting houses, these are perfect for painting trim and getting the corners covered perfectly. You can see by their shape that is pretty much what they are for, but I pretty much just use them for my artwork. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who either needs to do some painting around the house or doing art. I think they are great either way. And most definitely a bargain considering that the prices of everything is going up like crazy. 5 stars definitely.

These brushes are unique and work well. They have a small amount of coverage, but are well made.
