Heavier than I thought
The Gravity Pal Traveler, which I purchased recently, is very sturdy and well made. I am happy how with the low angle inversion is helping my low back. It feels wonderful when I am using it and my back can stretch out and relax. I have a level 1 spondylolisthesis and my low back is protectively tight at all times, limiting mobility and being somewhat painful. The weight of the table is 19 pounds but I did not particularly pay attention to that as it didn't sound like much. But I find that it is difficult for me to lift, set up and put away the table because of the pressure placed on my low back. It seems counter productive to the benefit of using the table. My husband will often do that for me, but he is not always available. We don't have a place in our small house where we can leave it set up permanently. Getting off the table is also uncomfortable and I will have to devise more cushioning. Two years of not exercising isn't helping me either, but I still think that this table is going to be useful in my getting in better shape.

Very comfortable
My last incline board lasted 30 years but this one is even better. The incline is low enough so that you can exercise on it and it has padded rubber cover so you don’t slide off. You can fold it and store it when not in use. Very nicely made and sturdy

I Do Feel Better
Thanks to a surgeon who refused to repair my inguinal hernia because he was terrified of my massively swollen lymph nodes (he was convinced I had Hodgkins lymphoma, which is NOT the case), I purchased the Gravity Pal without a bit of buyer's remorse. The idea was that I could, as needed, lie down at a tilt and jiggle the errant bit of gut back up through the gap in my abdominal muscles, thus further postponing the surgery I'd already put off for 51 years. (No, that's not a typo.)And it worked. The low angle inversion table is doing its job. The hardcore versions where you hang upside down like a slab of beef never did work for me. I always felt like I was being attacked and wound up waiting for my feet to fall off, dropping me on my head. Not a pleasant experience. The Gravity pal is less traumatic. When I first lie down on the thing, sure, my saggy 74 year old facial skin rolls up over the lower portion of my eyes, my lower back hurts, and that's after having used the table at least twice daily for several weeks. But after a few minutes, the back pain is gone and the biggest challenge is trying not to fall asleep because I snore in that position.Overall, I do feel better since starting this protocol. Being a bit of an extremist in such matters and often willing to ignore good suggestions, I started out at twenty minutes per session, three sessions per day, later reducing the regimen to twice a day at ten minutes per lie-down. That seems to be the sweet spot for me. Most of the time, the table sits folded up beside a recliner in the living room, but it does go along with us during our every-other-month trips from western Montana to southern Arizona and back. We did not buy a travel case but simply kept the cardboard shipping box to protect the Gravity Pal en route. The unit is sturdy, the construction is well done with legs that stand strong and fold easily, and I expect to be using this same table twenty years from now.

Just a Little Upside-Down
This low angle inversion table does everything the full inversion tables do, without the necessity of strapping your ankles so that you willstay on it - or stretching your leg muscles so much that they may not return to their normal shape.. I have used gravity boots, hanging upsidedown and full inversion tables which can cause physical discomfort and often require someone present so you can get off the table.- Mostimportantly this product is well made and very very comfortable; the pad is smooth and the inversion table seamless in spite of the foldingedge. And without question, the customer service is the fastest, most complete and thoughtful anyone could ask for.But why the low-angle table for me? It's more like yoga. The low angle gives me the tilt that puts my head down and legs up withoutstrapping my ankles or stretching my muscles. Consistent use of the table in up to three minute intervals increases blood flow to thebrain, shoulders and spinal cord....or so it seems to me. And increases my sense of well being - and I sense a rhythm to it. I'mhigh energy - and this makes me quieter. And my feet which carry the weight of my body are released from gravity - and love it. TheGravity Pal becomes my third piece of equipment, joining the Belicon rebounder and the Body Blade to provide a rounded physical exercise experience.

Very comfortable and relaxing
I use the table to stretch out my spine and relax my low back. It helps. I've only had a week or so, so I don't feel any long term results yet, but combined with working with a spinal/cranio therapist, I am very hopeful.

excellent product
This thing is fantastic. It isn't cheap, but as with most consumer items, you get what you pay for. This table is very well engineered and constructed, and I'm sure it will last forever. It's ridiculously easy to set up (absolutely no assembly involved from the get-go) and fold up when I'm done. The low angle is perfect; I can feel my spine decompressing without too much blood rushing to my head as would happen on other types of steeper-angle inversion tables. We have a small apartment, so I'm eternally grateful to have found something to relieve my spinal stenosis that I can actually use in here. It's so small that it just sits in a corner, completely flat.

Slant Board
I have looked for months for a slant board at thrift stores (usually $10) and this is a very expense slant board. That said it is beautifully put together and I use it every day. It used to be said that 20 minutes sleep on a slant board was worth 2 hours of sleep. I use it to stretch out my back. Have noticed that breathing is easier on it. It did not come with a case as shown in this pic but does fold and can be moved around. The construction is beautiful. Gave it 4 stars because of the high price on it.
