Easy and inexpensive for a solid brand
easy to put on and take off thanks to the wrench on piece at the bottom of the filter. Its a good brand and thanks to the subscription feature, i can have it delivered every three months so i don't forget to change the oil in my vehicle.

Best For Tight Spaces
I've been using this oil filter after I first got my Gen.3 Dodge Dakota with the 3.9L engine. Where the filter is located, I can barely get my band style filter wrench to go around the filter, because of the tight area between that and the frame of the truck. This allows me to get under there with a 1" box end wrench and get it off no problem, and without getting my filter wrench stuck! K&N has always made reliable products, and these are some of the best on the market. Unlike Fram filters, these are manufactured to withstand high pressure, and if you go to YouTube and see the videos of guys cutting all the major filters on the market open, you can see first hand why these are great oil filters to go with for your vehicle.

Consistency in all products.
Well made. Easy to use. Bolts on with minimal effort. Easy to remove for the same reason - KNN does not sell warped product.Every filter in my 21 year old Durango is KNN including the cabin filter.Runs and drives like a Champ !Highly recommend !!

Speed nut too rounded on corners
I assume the filter works fine, but the welded on nut on the bottom is not very tall and the edges are too rounded so the nut is not as useful as it could be because a socket wrench easily slips off. And it does not help that the nut is covered with a very smooth high gloss paint. This works OK if you have a straight shot with your wrench, but if you have to use a swivel on your wrench extension it's difficult.

Does not fit LA360 motors
These are listed in Amazon parts calculator as fitting my 1979 Dodge with LA360 motor. These do not, they do not thread all the way up, these are for more modern Magnum 360 motors, the parts calculator is wrong. For an older LA 360 motor, cross reference Fram PH8A filter to whichever brand you prefer. These are still great filters so I gave it a 5 star review, it’s not K&Ns fault this parts calculator is incorrect

Use it for all my cars
Definitely recommend K&N filters for any car you plan on beating on and driving fast, the filtration is superior to standard oil filters when it’s mostly needed. This will definitely protect your engine with its well engineered filter media and will help keep your engine running like new for longer.
