Great fun!
Although of my era, I never got to see EC comics in the Midlands. Some must have made their way to England (there's a letter in this volume from a UK fan) but I can only think a limited few made it into circulation in London perhaps. I found it hard enough to find 'Famous Monsters Of Filmland' and my parents deeply disapproved of that! I was a massive fan (and subscriber to) 'Mad' in the early/mid 60s and I recall there was a UK edition of the magazine with a limited amount of UK-slanted content edited by a David Climie. Googling I find a David Climie (1920-1995) prolific comedy script writer who worked on 'The Two Ronnies' so it must be him I reckon. The comic art skills on display in this volume are stunning and the high quality of the book itself is a fitting tribute to them. One query: This is called 'Volume Three, issues 13-18 complete'. The actual comics inside are issues 29-34. Am I missing something here???
