Q: The photo indicates “12 pack” in the upper right-hand corner. At this price I think I know the answer, but is this for one bottle, or 12?

I don't get why the photo still indicates "12 pack". The seller has had 9 months to fix the photo.

Q: Is this the same product as the "New improved" liquid glass?

Not 100% sure but I bought it after reading that it is the improved product. I put 5 coats on in preparation for winter weather. Simple application and the car looks fantastic. Note that I used the pre-clean product prior to applying the polish.

Q: Is this the old Liquid Glass product ?

NO. Sadly it is not nearly as good in my opinion. I was a Liquid Glass user for years. Tried this reformulated product and was disappointed. They kept the high price point and made an inferior product.

Q: Is mpt precleaner required for applying over liquid glass

No , it works very good with liquid glass , i just purchased "finish first" and it has a corvette on the can just like liquid glass .
