I picked this up for when we go car camping, as having the option of using AA batteries is a nice feature. The plug also has a USB-A side so that you can also plug it into a battery bank. Before adding water or batteries, it is only 25-ounces, and it is 7-inches tall (not including the handle), 7-inches wide, and 4.5-inches deep.Once you fill the cooler with water, you need to wait 3-5 minutes before turning it on, to allow for the filter element to absorb the water. I found that once the filter wicked-up the water, I could then add a bit more water to the reservoir to get the longest run time possible.After using it a bit, we have found that it has a few annoyances and limitations that you should be aware of. It also works best if you fill it with very cold water, particularly ice water, to begin with.- Although it has a USB-A charging cable, the end that plugs into the unit is a round plug. I wish it were something like USB-C, so that if you lose the cord, you can easily replace it. There is no place to store the cord per se, but I guess you could store it inside the side of the unit when not in use.- The unit is not a very strong cooler, and we found it only marginally useful on the high setting. We had to place it near our heads. When we placed it down by the foot of our mattress, we could hardly feel it.- The 10-hour run time must be for the low setting, as it only lasted a few hours on high, which is the only setting we found useful.- It’s a bit on the annoying loud side, especially since we found it needed to be placed near our heads to work efficiently for us.- The instructions indicate that after use, you need to run the unit on high on an empty water tank for four continuous hours to prevent mold.Despite the nitpicks, this is a nice little unit that would work well for car camping in the summer or during power outages at home. But I wouldn’t say that this is something that should be relied on for a regular basis.

I ordered this for my kids playhouse (168 sq. foot). We filled it with water and ice and it didn’t cool the playhouse even a little.You can feel cool air blowing if you’re directly in front of it. The high setting is low and the low setting is lower.We were going to try more ice to see if that cooled it off more but all of the water was leaking out of the bottom by day 2.There’s a clear indication of where to put the water and how full to fill it so I know we were filling it in the right place.It does run well off batteries but I don’t know for how long considering the 2nd time we tried to use it, it was leaking bad.

This little portable mini air conditioner fan is great for cooling your personal space. It's easy to use, just pop in 4 AA batteries and fill it with cold water. We keep ours on an end table in our living room, and my wife loves it! We use it on high for 3-4 hours at a time before refilling it. We prefer to use batteries because it seems to work better that way. This is a small device that doesn't take up much space, but it only puts out cold air that can be felt from about 2 feet away. So don't expect it to cool a large area. My advice is to use ice cold water every time and clean the filter often. This little air conditioner also works great for keeping an ice cold drink cold longer. Just put your drink in front of the fan and it will keep it cool for hours. We've also used this fan in a tent, and it worked great there too. It's a great little product that's perfect for personal cooling. It's inexpensive, easy to use, and it works well. I would definitely recommend it.

It works but not nearly as well as you may think. It only cooled off my room barely if at all.

It worked the 1st time and now it only stays on low and timer will not work.

This portable cooling fan is great for me & my workday. Living in Las Vegas, we have an abundance of heat and this cooling fan can sit on my desk and keep me cool throughout the day. It really does make a difference.It is simple to use. Just add water. You have to watch the MAX line, but other than that, there is nothing more to do.The main issue I found was pouring the water in and watching the water line. It is a bit awkward, but that is just a small issue. The machine is not completely quite, nor does was it loud enough to bother me much.I haven't tried it with batteries yet. You can plug it into your USB plug for it to work. Great item.
