Due to Skin Cancer as a result of being an avid swimmer, I can't go out without long sleeves on my shirts, etc., and Sunscreen slathered directly on my skin, I decided to use a parasol/umbrella with a sunscreen rating of 50 or above, for heat issues of wearing long sleeves, pants legs, if available. I found the Lancoon 24 Ribs Large Umbrella Fashion Long Handle Straight Anti-UV Sun/Rain Stick Umbrella KS07P. It is light, the handle fits perfectly in my hand, and the color makes me happy to look at. You really can't tell it is UV protection. I can truly say I love it!

I love this umbrella! It huge. This is great because I can fit myself and at least 2 others under this umbrella. It as sturdy as it is beautiful. I can't wait for it to rain. What I did not like was that I couldn't find it in yellow. That being said, I'm totally happy with this umbrella.

I like the the uniquity of this umbrella in the number or abundance of ribs. I was under the impression that 4 or 5 ribs was all that was possible but I was so wrong. And when you think about it the number of ribs doesn’t make a difference in operation but looks more impressive and certainly has to be more stable.

Wow! This is worth every penny. The colours are amazing, the umbrella does what it says, shade in sun, shelter in rain! It also comes with a strap to have it over your shoulder.The construction is solid,haven't faced a proper windy storm yet but I'm confident! X
